there's probably an installer setting for max temp, likewise for the cut-in point.

so the ASHP cuts OUT at 55c but what is it's cut IN point? It had started to reheat the tank by the time you were finished, but that's too late.

@pocster are you talking about line level or speaker level here? Mixers are low-level/high impedance, and you've already said your Rasps have inbuilt amps?

Are all the amp outputs simultaneously connected to only one speaker? can each Pi output a DC signal saying it's active? Some PA/ background music amps have a "priority" input for announcements/ alarm signals over the music.

why would you presume that tax evasion is the only reason for preferring cash? It costs money to lodge into many business accounts -whether cheque or cash- and so if you're going to (say) need cash to buy the shopping with, there's no need to drag it through multiple bank accounts as long as you note it in your books as income. I know, I do it.

A lot of the componentry will be the same, and (no doubt) there are only so many suppliers of the wee rubber trims for around the pipes, and the plastic top/bottom covers...

the blower doors are calibrated with removable plugs to change the range of the meter. Dunno why there'd be a problem with using the kit as designed?

we went to a square section nylon filament and it's incredible! So much nastier than the ordinary round stuff, even half inch brambles are dealt with very easily. Seems to last longer too...

@ProDave Take a look at your prescription, specifically the "Add" number. that's the magnification the optician recommends adding to your base correction to get the reading prescription. Go to one of the online providers, I use https://www.selectspecs.com/ the lab is in Hong Kong but the service is superb and they're cheap as chips; and when you're typing in your prescription, make the Add 0.5 or 1 less. Or both, they're so cheap, lol.

^ that's pretty much what I'm doing with my TS @SteamyTea. HP coil buffers the system/tank to at least heating flow temp, but can raise the whole tank to DHW temps if the upper/lower immersions haven't done that using the PV.

Fan will only run when it's actively heating. The fan on the better units is modulated and will change speed to suit the load.
