  8. Here they just direct bury into your pre-dug trench. No duct, just marker tape.
  9. If so, no stub cill required IMO. I know they are common in England but over here the frame is generally just set on top of the boot cill with the frame overhanging outside slightly.
  10. No. On the outside is there a gap between the concrete cill and the timber one? Like the concrete sits up in a ridge at the back. And does the concrete one have a good slope on it?
  11. Is there no upstand at the back of the concrete cill?

  18. no farm suppliers even? Cheap tubular field gates, and then fence boards Tek-screwed on would work well.
  19. One of the refrigerant pipes should be getting hot tho if it's pumping heat. Water pipes cold yes, but the refrigerant should be carrying the heat. It does indeed suggest that the outside unit isn't switching the whole way over. Perhaps give the valve a gentle tap while energised and see if it drives farther?
  20. Any chance it's Brexit issue? I've never worked out whether Kytun UK actually manufactured or just resold... try the other office: https://www.nwa.ie/products/kytun-dry-fix-systems/slate-dry-verge-systems/slate-verge-system-t1/
  21. And when the kitchen arrives and wifey doesn't like the colour, will that £66 feel good in your pocket?
