  1. don't they have a string of thermistors down the middle, or am I imagining reading that?
  2. yes, my 9.5kW inverter unit modulates just like a gas boiler and can consume anything from 600W to 3kW. The fan and pump are variable speed as well as the compressor.
  3. never minding what the flow switch is saying, are you sure there's enough actual flow?
  4. If you exported that much, how much electric did you *use*?
  5. I went with Hoymiles microinverters- duals because of our configuration. They're very efficient, daisy-chain together for easy cabling, and have per-panel MPPT. This works very well, you can see shading passing across individual panels in the monitoring software.
  6. clad each face with J-section UPVC fascia?
  7. UPVC single pane with georgian bars?

  12. I've a MIG, the MMA inverter, and a DC TIG kit for it. Tig is great, love it, it's very like using a flame. Some day I'll treat myself to an AC-DC Tig...
  13. sounds like a more useable option.
  14. I'd not be so sure of that. Today's inverter sticks are a lot more forgiving than a transformer machine. I've a 90A inverter you're welcome to have a play with if you want.
  15. yep, a big air-lift.
  16. Hmm interesting. Is there a 3-speed switch installed? Are any RF sensors installed?
  17. yep, I paid £29 in October.
  18. pictures of the fan module and connectors and we might be able to work it out.
  19. I'd no problems getting a pallet of plaster a couple of weeks ago, but that *was* Gyproc Carlite rather than BG?
  20. There are flexible hoses between the ASHP and the pipes in the wall?
  21. ^ we're about the same length on a 32mm run, and no issues.
  22. ...back to the diffuser. the fine bubble/ membrane variety are self-cleaning and burst through the sludge every time the blower starts. The holes are so small they're in essence closed when the blower is off. The large bubble type are a different kettle of fish.
  23. The instructions are pretty clear on how to connect it up Dave.
