  1. not much drainer space tho
  2. @patp where is the little green box you refer to?
  3. BTDT. No teeshirt, but a broken wrist and femur, 20 years ago now. Freshly epoxied concrete...
  4. says they're specifically for solid concrete, *not* blocks?
  5. would you actually see a difference between 2700 and 3000K?
  6. If a TF supplier doesn't have the flexibility to give you what you want, you want a different supplier. Whilst everyone has their standard packages, I had no problem getting pricing on options to suit my requirements...
  7. Isn't there and adjustable spring to counterbalance top-hung opening?
  8. metals warp with heat, it's what they do. But a stove that's uncontrollable is obviously getting air from somewhere it shouldn't. Are there any "fixed" apertures with screw adjustment? Is there a thermostat and has it's calibration been checked? Does the door need a new rope?
  9. Did you say whether it's underfloor or rads?
  10. car exhaust putty? High temp (flue) silicone?
  11. Tekscrews?
  12. You might be sending the ASHP a demand signal, but surely it'll only be running based on water temperature anyway?
  13. Personally I'd say that the high flow rates an ASHP requires would mean 28mm above 10kW for sure.
  14. the terms are still used interchangeably. Oddly enough tho, true Imperial plumbing is still common in the South of Ireland...
  15. ^Already is IMHO. cf. @zoothorn
  16. ^ yep, some have a choice of (IIRC) 6 or 10 cycles/hr.
  17. Is there not a buffer tank?
  18. grey is better than yellow.
  19. Sorry, Dave, consumer grade Karcher is not brilliant these days. The plastic pump heads distort, and frost kills them completely. See if you can find a service/ parts book online for that model and you'll get a better idea of what's doable.

Boost is higher voltage at same frequency I think. Like a torque assist
  23. the flow would be too turbulent for the average anaemometer to deal with IMO
  24. I can't fault Turkingtons for us, some of their manufacturing is done at Windows 2000 round the corner here in Ards, and Apeer do a big proportion of the composite doors..
  25. £4.30 in B&Q?
