  1. Well you know what to do, knock it off her housekeeping.
  2. Yes I think cls is either 89 or 63 wide x 38 thick. I used 89 here on 400c/c Good thing about cls is it's nice and dry so less likely to warp or twist after you put it up and it dries out.
  3. How big are the tins 1l? I got through just less than 1 and a half tins with 2 coats with 9 doors
  4. I used subframes.co.uk on my last
  5. If it is deffo getting in under there because of a gap in silicone could you 're seal from underneath with a 90 nozzle or whatever then get some metal skirts made to introduce a wider drip. These could overlay the glass by 20mm and cover that black edge. I hope that black isn't the glazing compound uv light breaks it down
  6. Dreaming if thinking you can fix to the ones you put in afterwards. Is that what you're after?
  7. Good job btw
  8. Prefinished I take it. Also with the arc not being long enough I presume you are using metric size doors? 2040+10+70 2120mm with no allowance for clearance at the bottom. Lengths 4.2. So wasteful why don't they sell them in 4.5s. Would the equivilant imperial sized door have been cheaper?
  9. This is a big benefit. I wasn't paying much more % wise for 15 over 12.5
  10. 12.5mm on ceiling you need nogs (dwangs for @ProDave!) At 1200s. 15mm you don't. Saves time.
  11. I had something like that years ago but the other way. App granted before s106 introduced and I wanted to change to separate apps. Was a nightmare the council wouldn't swallow it without whacking s106 on the new apps even though was sake scheme. Kept old planning in the end. I wouldn't have thought they can refuse pp on the grounds they will lose out on cil.
  12. Have hip support trays been used? Bottom hip should be either bedded or hip end closure on. Does the bottom course of tiles look to be same pitch as rest or are they hanging down
  13. I can believe that
  14. I placed my drain exactly where shower drain was. Some plumbers thought I was crazy but if you line it up you're ok. There's a JT vertical outlet trap which is the same outer size as pan connector so can seal into drain with rubber off one of those. It is probably easier to use 2" sideways trap with shuttering and connect down into 110mm. Level IC have no difference in invert depth https://www.jewson.co.uk/p/osma-drain-shallow-inspection-chamber-250mm-brown-PO4D960Z
  15. Also as Peter says taking that kitchen run out through the other side of house and popping a ridding eye on is a good shout. I've done that at mine.
  16. I'd go 3 but have a 3 way ic and don't bother trying to join toilet run to the kitchen sink run under the slab. More liable to give you an issue with inaccessible junction as opposed to 3 way chamber. You can get level chamber bases so this won't effect your invert heights. Osma do a good 1 piece 3 way level IC.
  17. Very good info and source for future information. Thanks for sharing
  18. @Nickfromwales @PeterStarck there's special fixing plates you get which connect them
  19. Mine is a 2 stroke and noisy as hell but powerful. Did my nans lawn last week leaves were soaked but the blower got them all down the bottom and I got them into a pile. Dug a grave pit where the runner beans grow this weekend buried a load in there
  20. Best bit of advice @brickierob1 is to combine all these threads into one else you will be starting a new one for every brick you lay. It can be a bit like @Onoff bathroom thread
  21. Should think he gave you a clout for suggesting using them for flooring
  22. If take the grand extra with simplification if it were me. Messing about with the boxes plus cost of concrete inside of them would put me off. Good pics @LA3222. Look like you had decent depth to work with on your drains!
  23. How long is a normal shower I'm in there 10 to 15 mins
  24. I've had 6m 304mm pozis before. Can't comment on deflection as I had a stud partition in the middle. Probably isn't right to do that but it was all on the drawing and apart from leaving a gap at top of stud, it's always going to reduce deflection a bit
  25. Around an inch off the finished wall usually I think. @Nickfromwales?
