  1. yep, a big air-lift.
  2. Hmm interesting. Is there a 3-speed switch installed? Are any RF sensors installed?
  3. yep, I paid £29 in October.
  4. pictures of the fan module and connectors and we might be able to work it out.
  5. I'd no problems getting a pallet of plaster a couple of weeks ago, but that *was* Gyproc Carlite rather than BG?
  6. There are flexible hoses between the ASHP and the pipes in the wall?
  7. ^ we're about the same length on a 32mm run, and no issues.
  8. ...back to the diffuser. the fine bubble/ membrane variety are self-cleaning and burst through the sludge every time the blower starts. The holes are so small they're in essence closed when the blower is off. The large bubble type are a different kettle of fish.
  9. The instructions are pretty clear on how to connect it up Dave.
  10. I bought a GSE-based system from them and the pricing and buying experience were both good. edit: I shoulf say tho do ask for a quote as the website isn't that up-to-date.
  11. can you hoist the aerator out easily for a look-see?
  12. I think part of the problem will be the aeration diffuser at the bottom getting too deeply buried. Did anyone look closely at the diffuser on their plant during install? Not sure if there are many shapes or types. The bigger the holes, the slower the airflow and the more chance of blocking I'd reckon.
  13. factory re-set and reprogram?
  14. sounds cheap enough for a trade.
  15. I'm putting 15-18kWh into the tank each day at the minute. That's covering tank losses, water for handwashing etc, and any heating demands too. ASHP has barely fired up in the past fortnight.
  16. I bought one in Lidl at the start of the build. Never used it, still in the box.
  17. Will you be having level access elsewhere in the house?
  18. I'd heard too many negatives about Munster and just went round the local upvc options.
  19. fancy windows or ordinary? I couldn't justify more than ordinary, and Turkingtons looked after us well.
  20. I used Ignis Protect on our build and it's a pretty handy way of filling a hole in the frame.
  21. /there's a reason I went with cheap bar mixers...
  22. upvc works fine for me too. Isn't it tru tho that a poorly- designed 3g unit can be bettered by the best of the 2g options? Without going to "fancy" frame options (aluclad etc) there's only so much depth to work in and filling the 2g's airgap with another sheet of glass doesn't leave much space... Other than the asthetic of the more expensive frame options, are we not into the realm of diminishing returns as with other insulation thicknesses?
  23. throw them in the back of someone elses car then and go to the nearest garage (or whatever) and drop them off. there's generally a set price for cylinder returns.
  24. isn't most double sided tho? Ridges/ grooves?
