  1. I had great price and service from Plug-in Solar, I think they're a reseller for Midsummer, and didn't have any issue with delivering to NI.
  2. that was lucky.
  3. drill the welds out, new bearing, a few MIG spots, done. /except it's probably some wierd Imperial size that'll cost as much as a new pulley...
  4. Is there another pump for the towel rads or are they just opposite the ASHP tappings on the LLH?

  6. do it with a back entry gully and it's then rodable and you've somewhere for your outside tap to leak into as well...
  7. anybody near you work on commercial vehicles or trailers? Common for flooring in them...
  8. or a wee 12v lightbulb if you've got one kicking around...
  9. what's the point of the pocket door between Bed4 and the spiral stair? Surely the handrail will preclude acces to the stair...
  10. Voltage drop is the problem. You'll probably be alright with trimmers as they don't use too much juice. But a chainsaw takes a bit more, and don't even think about anything with an induction motor (power washer, compressor) as they really dont like the supply being low.
  11. Hire a petrol one?
  12. @nod £20 m2 for *what* precisely?
  13. Because the tool *is* brand new, don't assume the steel is a good fit or lubricated...
  14. LBS Snowdon slate-effect clay tiles
  15. Ring Cardy Timber in Carrowdore, they specialise in dealing with fancy live-edged stuff and might be able to advise or assist.
  16. Surely roadside fibre cabinets only apply to FTTC, plain old ADSL *is* copper pair back to the exchange... In our case the exchange would be about 8km, but the Cabinet isn't much better as it's at the far end of the nearby village, so still about 4km of copper.
  17. is it 3-phase? Split means you'll need it evacuating on removal and regassing once the new gas lines are installed
  18. the gypsum stuff is extremely stiff even at 50mm. Sure thicker would be stiffer, but you're looking at something akin to the "temper" of a vibrated Council paving slab.
  19. diesel with a splash of ATF would be penetrant of choice for me.
  20. is it sitting over a pit, or does it leak ?
  21. gypsum pumped screed for us too. quick, clean, level.
  22. with the power isolated push a pin/ straightened paperclip/whatever into the small hole beside the one the wire goes into.
  23. yeah, you'd want a nosey inside to see what variety of gears bearings and clutches are rattling around in there
  24. the sticky Lucas additive would certainly take the pressure. Are they all straight-cut gears and are there and friction clutches inside?
