  1. I'm not so sure about that. Fair enough if a raft with mesh in already but in a ground bearing slab with strip founds ufh is dearer than radiators, means introducing mesh and increased complexity. Having said that I do think it is better for low energy homes
  2. Waste of stone covering it with a container. Put the container on some bearers or blocks on the ground if temp

  5. No idea on plumbing myself. Is there enough play to disconnect the blending valve and find out for certain if that's the problem?
  6. Think back-up manual control from inside could be problematic. Sounds like holes being needed to be drilled through.
  7. No some is held in by a compressible security tape sticking glass to frame other is just rubber gaskets. YouTube would explain better
  8. Think there are pro brick acid guys now, come round at top out before scaff gets dropped and jet wash with a diluted acid and water mix, then water over the top. Think they were charging 250 a plot round here
  9. Last time I checked I was paying around £28 m2 for standard clear units. Price might have changed since then tbf 33 doesn't sound bad. Check if you need glazing tape as most likely the glazing merchants will have in the factory. Usually if beaded externally it has glazing tape, beaded internally rubber gasket. Probably not always the case though.

  17. Have you looked at a don Carlos yet? Your scraper could be crap
  18. Google don Carlos double glazing
  19. Is there not guidance on poison manufacturers which makes clear? Can't you borrow Jeremy's super trap lol. Seriously though does anyone here worry about rodent damage to airtightness membranes? For such a critical part of the build it is susceptible to damage from them
  20. Don Carlos is your friend
  21. Im tight myself but being new to this system I just went with a one stop shop and accepted that I probably overpaid a little. I'm happy to start shopping around once I grasp a subject but just wanted this to be all supplied by one firm. My 2 pence!
  22. My manifolds needed irons 25mm to 22mm compression for heating 3/4 to 22mm compression for water. You just have to go with whatever is on what you're connecting to
  23. A mole for a sewer connection never heard that. Water supply yes
  24. After so many loads they are supposed to now. I think you could circumvent by using a different company this time.
