It's unlikely that anyone would forget to advertise a unit as being inverter... Cool energy do some BIG boiler-replacement inverters, and told me they have no intention of offering smaller units as inverter. But low starting currents and a range of outputs (eg Cool Energy's 6-18.7), would be a hint.

Sounds like the hot water circuit might be gravity, how many pipes go to the multifuel? Or is the system "pumping over", with the pump forcing water out of the vent pipe and back into the F&E tank? Are there any other pumps, like beside the oil boiler? You might try as a first go, closing the valves on the hot radiators to force the flow to the others. Once you've flow to all than you can worry about balance...

I checked our filters after about four months.. . Intake on the left. Loads of tiny tiny flies, and I fear the brown tint is caused by the amount of slurry dispensed locally. Loads of horses nearby too. The exhaust side is all concrete dist off the (unsealed) subfloor.

Mine'll go on a standard arbour so yes, spindle size critical.
