My house wrap was only guaranteed for something like 4 months exposure to UV Tyvec house wrap I think from memory. -
The single phase mcb/rcbos that fit a single phase board fit a 3 phase board manufacturers don’t mix them about... you wouldn’t need an extender you get large 3 phase boards. it’s a more elegant designed solution in my opinion.
-
There is no regulation about proximity of different phases in close proximity to each other. personally I would go for a 3 phase board it’s what is done in the industry.

With rods you have to watch the zones of influence so if you hit a rod 1.2 metres into the ground the next rod if you decide to add another needs to be 2.4metres away So sometimes it’s worth just throwing the tape into a trench , backfilling with bentonite if necessary and away you go.
-
If you have trenches rather than rods use copper tape, bare copper 25mm wide by 3mm thick in the trench and terminate it into an earth rod chamber, there join it to a 16mm earth conductor. This allows the joint to be inspected.

Use threaded screws to metal dowels. screw wood screw part into timber leaving machine thread exposed for bracket with a nut.

Would a megaflo be ok in the garage
TonyT replied to recoveringbuilder's topic in Boilers & Hot Water Tanks
As we don’t know the layout how could we comment. if space saving meant this had to go in the garage I may be inclined to build a small cupboard and insulate it to reduce losses. Hot water return circuit could minimise this along with smaller diameter pipework. -
I have a 1860 Victorian end terrace, nothing fancy about it. just that I have year on year as general building improvements have taken place I have improved the thermal performance of the building, to lower running costs, for my old age when I will be living off my pension, and no doubt energy will be an expensive commodity. Not sure why things need replaced every 10 years, my office has its air con still working after the install date 21 years ago. well installed and maintained equipment will last.

Best insulate insulate insulate and get that air test from 6 to something of 1 or under. then any heating source will cost a negligible amount to run

Pour some self levelling compound to make the difference up

Get the joiner fitting the worktops to router out a rebate for the led/trim/bezel. That would work
