Insulation installers use a belt larger than their waist and put the tape through the belt so it’s always to hand and as Mr Punter says keep the backing longer when ripping the tape off. rope or wire around the waist also works.

Keep the fairy liquid for washing dishes... buy proprietary products -
I have a few septic tanks that I manage, we pay about £900 to empty 2500 gallons of liquid gold. so best to ask how much locally to empty tanks as this may push you to the fixed installation if you consider running costs

Fold the Astroturf at the nearest join and dig trench , re instate. we regularly excavate , install duct and relay with little evidence of disruption

Why make it difficult. Stick to 230 vac leds run lighting cabling back to a central joint box if you want to automate, if not wire it as a joint box method. little bit more cable used but you can get the best of both worlds should you wish to automate at a later date -
Mix up a slurry and rub it in to seal the pin holes and cover the whole cap.

Builders do what is easiest for them. If the manufacturer advise this is wrong tell the builder to remove it and sort it properly. clearly they need supervision throughout the build

Ageee, but I said this in regards to make it easier to cable up. so if they are in the same room or in the same wall it’s a doddle with little or no disruption

I’m all for PV, and have had mine since 2011. I think you need to think about the future too, so inverter location? maybe in a plant room/garage somewhere that in the future you could add batteries or diverters and make it easy to cable up. you won’t get be able to install that size of install without prior permission if it’s grid connected So maybe worth dealing with that first

Move it to a corner of the plot that’s away from the house and then advertise on the local free sites, advising to help yourself. let the local college know they may be interested in small items to help teach newbies or the art college may stick it on a canvas and sell it back to you. -
I feel like giving up on the idea.

The building game will stay the same. building large amounts of poorly build homes to maximise profit shareholders and all that.
