  1. unless they're pre-drilled like these: http://www.ridgetiles.com/
  2. doesn't the dry ridge roll have a self-adhesive underside?
  3. Accreditation and proof of competency are separate things tho. Download the blank EIC and have a look at it https://electrical.theiet.org/bs-7671/model-forms/ You'll need all the right test gear and also be happy to sign-off the relevant sections.
  4. *from* the treatment plant surely?
  5. AFAICT you don't need to prove competency by providing training or membership certs, but you will have to be able to offer a completed EIC. I don't think the BCOs have a facility for inspect and test?
  6. What's the red hose with the T-pieces?
  7. I've an upstairs loop in ours, and tee'd an auto vent into both flow and return where it rises up and heads into the FF screed. Works perfectly, just need to remember that it'll drain down if the system is depressurised elsewhere.
  8. I'd just go 150 insulation and 50mm pumped screed for the same build height. Conveniently matches a block...
  9. Only the finest Chinesium for me, and darned handy it is too.
  10. we've a Panasonic free-standing combi microwave with no turntable, and it does all modes outstandingly well?
  11. One other observation on my system- what kind of trap do you have on the drain? If airflow is imbalanced (too much extract) the extract fan is powerful enough to pull water UP the drain pipe from where it'll flood the H/E drain area and even flow over the bottom of the fan when it'll splash water into the extract outlet duct. Suggest checking the drain pipework is well sealed and the trap functional...
  12. seems it would help with your button and menu issues?
  13. read the manual before purchase.
  14. might pull the covers off and check that the H/E is fitted centrally. If it's moved in transit it could be leaning on one or other of the covers, distorting it away from the foam seal. / mine's normally absolutely dry, but currently- extracting a tonne of water from the screed- there's a weep from the bottom of the front panel...
  15. we bought a plot with planning retained on footings. A change of design took a *long* time.
  16. to have retained planning, the footings must've been inspected by BC. Talking them into getting the files out of storage might take a wee while these days?
  17. drains are already in. If you can use the current footprint and the footings suit what's going on top, carry on. If not, sadly it's digger and crusher time...
  18. why don't you search the Welsh B'regs and find out, yourself?
  19. What is your design floor temp?
  20. unplugged the extension lead?
  21. how much Danish bacon is bought in the UK?
  22. one of these @vfrdave https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Compact-Router-Trimmer-Laminate-Kit-Trimmer-Tilt-Plunge-Base-Guide-for-Makita/324222818852?hash=item4b7d2f9a24:g:2ZAAAOSw--xfAGqL but mine came from a guy in Crumlin that brought a batch in. It's grand for the money, the plunge base is very solid.
  23. is an accumulator an option?
  24. needed to spend the lump money @Declan52. Skim will probably be a room at a time at this stage- I need habitable, not finished, for now.
