  1. @ProDave I dunno if that servo motor is the best choice tbh, they can be very delicate. What's the I reckon you've got enough power for something a bit meatier- a 380 RC motor or a pillaged small cordless tool motor maybe?
  2. why would they *not* use scrim @joe90?
  3. Shed company down south was happy to zero our supply and install.

  6. the door threshold will be an issue regardless of what you do surely?
  7. Ahhh... Gotcha. I didn't read the knock-down bit in the OP.
  8. what's the current place worth? Could you re-mortgage it to fund some or all of the build? That's the direction we went.

  10. certainly with Toyota Hybrids, battery capacity is massively more than that shown on the dash. Actual charge state in use starts between (roughly IIRC) 40 and 90% of the capacity, so even if the battery loses a bit of "size" over time the useable window stretches down to remain the same

  13. what happened to the string of thermistors up the middle that worked like a fuel gauge?
  14. The Load terminals have deep discharge protection- they'll switch off at 10.7V or so (on the 12V version)
  15. the fact that they have some "monitored sites" sure makes it seem like they are aware of the issue...
  16. Pricey, but just what you're looking for: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181087768961
  17. should this not have been designed before or during the Planning process?
  18. I wouldn't be so sure. Pressure vessels aren't everlasting and at the very least are likely to require statutory inspection under the PVD/PED , if not exchange and/or nondestructive or hydraulic test...
  19. Lifted out of the TUV certificate
  20. And that, as well as the consumption of the compressor heater are both measured and noted in the TuV energy cert.
  21. Umm, electromagnetic waves are very different to sound waves. Sound is pressure pulses and absolutely will sneak through tiny gaps.
  22. So their gate in on your ground?
