It’s not flash to use a puffer, it’s following manufacturer’s instructions.
I prefer hilti, and follow their instructions, so it’s generally a 2mm bigger hole than the rod.
In 2004/5 I put in cat 6 cause I was using it on a job and it was leftover.
cat 6 has a larger bending radius so needs deeper boxes than cat 5 so that may be a consideration.
im not doing anything fancy computer wise, just streaming films, kids playing xboxes and general internet surfing
Fitted a vitodens combi in the in-laws house 2 weekends ago, great boiler
As they are getting on, we just used the existing 230vac stat and programmer, as they were getting worried about a new one.
so plus one for vitodens from me!
Personally I would leave the main switch and swap the mcbs fo rcbos. Rcd main switch will plunge you into darkness( assuming no EM lighting installed) when anything trips..
minimising grief is the name of the game!

Vague instructions means it doesn’t matter if you are out a little bit, it’s not like self levelling compound that specify x amount of litres of water per bag.
don’t worry it will be fine
I think your first post asked should I be getting an electrician in for this?
I think the answer now is yes, it will be sorted quickly and safely and let you move on.you gave it a bash, time to call out the pro.
dangerous stuff electricity!
