  1. He is meaning wheeled skid steer @ProDave in Australia bobcat is used as a term for all skidsteer wheeled loaders. Like Hoover for vacuum
  2. You could fix head through insulation with long screws. How big is this stud
  3. What's the lintel above? I fitted one other week. Like you say 2hr job
  4. Are you confident enough to employ subcontractors and move away from overheads and profit margins of groundwork companies
  5. Yeh I fitted some 2 weeks ago on garage. I thought it was a cheap foil on outside but the bloke explained this was the reason. Never had a problem with gutter expanding so can't see the point.
  6. I nog all unsupported edges. Might go 15mm board on next project and not bother next time.
  7. What about those panels @Nickfromwales recommended for me. If they come in 20mm youd just add these all over and shower tray shaped one for shower area
  8. Looks good. Bit closer with your photos be nice to see the detail. Did stick build work out cost effective?
  9. 45l ha! That's ok then
  10. Would of thought you'd get better price on that quantity @nod? Got to be a few pallets worth there

I remember the posts as it was happening like yesterday. Bloody 5 years ago. Costs don't seem to have changed much if 170m2 quote is recent. Bear in mind op that there will be many site specific variables coming out of ground
  14. Is it up to contractor to verify householders claim that property has been vacant for 2 years? It's not a reclaim scheme for householder is it
  15. Vat registered we get everything ex vat really @nod then we collect vat from customer if applicable. Vat is just a cash flow exercise
  16. I had one of these wall hung once. They're a lot of effort for that clear floor look aren't they. Well done anyway
  17. Just fitted a 2440 clear opening size seems wide enough. Keep in mind I'd want to leave at least 600mm nibs internally so you don't kill the side storage on yours
  18. Thanks all I am talking floating vinyl as opposed to stuck
  19. What's a good make to buy? I fitted some the other week and didn't really pay much attention to what brand it was. Are they all much of a much?
  20. Sorry mine was a typo meant to say dettol - bloody auto correct
  21. Detail while fitting a new bog. Poshest tradesman around!
  22. Not to hijack but i'm planning to use 10mm in a renovation scenario. It's a gravity fed system. It will be swapped over at some point to mains pressure. Is 10mm asking for trouble or will it be fine while on gravity? I assume if it works for 1/2" copper it should work fine for 10mm
  23. Tanking east but bit messy. What do the hardibacker boards rely on at joints, internals and shower tray? Ct1?
  24. Because these are fibreglass will it do away for need of liquid DPM too?
