you need a brave thickness of it I think tho? Well we've a floor. It's solid enough to walk on, hot enough to get the whole house to 17c, and there's water p*ssing down all the windows and doors... @SteamyTea wanna have a go at how much energy 10m3 of gypsum has goiing spare as it cures?

The BCO isn't coming back, won't be measuring it, and the builder won't be fixing it. But you will live with a cold room unless you work out what should've been done and check what was done. If the room was warm, none of this would matter; but you've got a problem and you're currently trying to diagnose it.

"roughly sure" isn't good enough.

@Conor yes they were, and we were pretty set on hemihydrate from the beginning. The latest cement-based one for CES is apparently very good tho, I'm told.

Screed day! the two lads were on site at 0750 waiting for me to open up. They left shortly after 1pm, with 10 cube down at about 65mm average. Thankfully, nothing floated away during the process...

take the cover off that stat and see which wires are connected. I'm guess in the two you can see are for it's thermistor sensor and it hasn't yet actually been wired to anything else...

Date set for the screed pour- next Thursday (17th). Got the final loop down on the floor tonight, so that gives me a chance to go over the edge insulation, joints etc prior. Total loop length? 666 metres. Really. And no, not deliberately....

not sure what's currently happening what with COVID etc, but some of the NI-based frame companies will travel over to erect a kit. You might try Leadon, Kilbroney, Kudos, Kingspan. Some of the other companies aim more at the volume market and are less likely to be interested, but any and all may be happy to put a kit on a lorry and send it over, with an allowance for local sourcing of insulation etc.

If you've got a diverter, do you really need to think about this even?
