    Photo of more work

My son's mate's Dad does this as a bit more than the hobby from which it grew. He has his own hives plus others that he sites on sympathetic owners land locally. He then manages the hives. Makes for some interesting flavours if say the hive is sited in an apple orchard when that's the predominant flavour. Just over a fiver for a jar too. He sells to local delis, garden centres etc.
  2. As recommended by @PeterW, says his mate's company uses a couple of this model. The one I've ordered is the S model so has a few embellishments. They do rapid prototyping. @Jeremy Harrisalso went with the same company albeit his is a resin printer. Fingers crossed this one turns up. I can see a Baby Groot being on the cards to make (for his little sister) so I'll need to get some wood filament. Where's the best place you find to buy (filament)? It comes with 1kg of PLA.
  3. I've just pushed the button on an i3 Mega S direct from Anycubic.
  4. Be nice to see in it fully I must admit. They've said £120 but might be I just say "Keep going until we hit £200!" ? I intend volunteering to haul the vacuum hose and drop it in etc. Bit of a route around bushes etc. Access is worrying me but I told them I've 3.6m between the new pillars and space I reckon to pull up on the drive in front of them. The condition of the "lid" is the most worrying thing for me. Did think to empty it then cave the roof in and take out the rubble, then cast a new, "safe" lid. It's a sh!tty job but someone's got to...
  5. Wines good too. Usually have a glass after the beer.
  6. You can set the blades down to just a few mm.
  7. I read about the effects of drinking recently so have given up reading.
  8. Could you use say a wall chaser to cut some parallel slots in the screed at the edge then break the "fingers" out?
  9. If only. Bad day, just waiting for SWMBO to come in so I can hit the beer (knowing I've not got to go out again)!
  10. Posts, plural. No. Losing what little mojo I had at the moment. Feels like I'm fighting a succession of losing battles against overwhelming odds! Maybe I need a SAD lamp! ?
  11. Do nothing. Let nature take it's course: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/earth-and-planetary-sciences/water-erosion
  12. I think I'll do a plan of the plot, where the cess pool, road, boundaries are etc along with an elevation and put to the collective with a view to what's possible treatment plant wise. Fed up with this 3rd world set up.
  13. I often have a shatkora which seems apt!
  14. No ideas other than it doesn't. Must be that big.
  15. 19 years I think it is. Coming to Kent? No Room At The "In"! ?
  16. Lol! I only found where it was this year! "Over there somewhere" was all I knew beforehand. Too full to guess the construction even then. I thought it was a septic tank that was chambered? Pretty sure this is one big pit of sh!t.
  17. You reckon its chambered? Pretty sure it's just a big, circular brick "beehive". Only one cover at the apex. Open that and it's big enough to fall through. No grate etc. Hand dug in the 50s by a local father and son team who did everything local. I think the "roof" is arched bricks covered in concrete. Rough plan is this. From right, at the top of the slope is a disused branch that came from an outside loo. Then a manhole where everything goes into at the moment. Way down the garden another manhole with like a P trap and rodding eye in, then the pit. I'd guess the inlet pipe is about 3' down from the apex. All a bit precarious. I have to span with a ladder and walk out on that.
  18. Update. First place I rang offered "up to 2000L removed" for £155. Could do "sometime within the next 10 days" or I could book from 10th Dec. Told them I'd get back to them. Second place, £120 for up to 2000 GALLONS. I asked them to repeat it. They're coming Saturday morning in the "3000" tanker. Fingers crossed on the access. They come with 100' of hose as standard and can go up to 200' if needed.
  19. He has a pit and a jacking beam etc. Took the garage over from his Dad who is in his 70s. The garage has been there for over 50 years that I know of.
  20. I can assure you it was. Came from the garage where I get mine done. Replaced by another 2 poster. He also has a pit and a half pit.
  21. Welcome. Let's hope the BCO isn't the planner's mate! ?
  22. I have use of a Grazia 2 post lift. Ex MOT station. Came as 3 phase now geared down and rewired for single phase. Unfortunately it now sits in the open air on a concrete slab. Limiting in when you can use it because of the weather and limiting it's life too. ?
  23. And you can trim that patchwork Celotex whilst you're at it and foil tape the joints! ?
  24. Can you straighten that pipe lagging up please I find it offensive. Plus I hope all those cross head screws are aligned the same way. ?
