  1. I'm a similar stamp to you and even I am in danger of slipping under the water in this:
  2. Why not cut a template 1800 long by Xmm wide and see how easy it is to get in. Presume the 1800 is a constant up the height of the walls and that the room is dead square. Worst case you cut a bit of a slot into the pb and fill over.
  3. 1800 x 800 here. It's lovely. One day I hope to have enough hot water to fill it!
  4. Sounds doable, is that 1805mm a constant? Presume you'll have to slide the bath in. Where you side it from needs to be 1805mm too. Tile down onto the bath etc. Mind your fingers! What are the walls, pb?

  6. Lots of theories as to the why of frogs: https://www.scottishbrickhistory.co.uk/brick-frog-origins-of-use/
  7. I'd say no. The blocks have no frog so the resultant wall won't be very strong.
  8. I know the theory buy still made a bit of a hash over it.
  9. I used the cheapest ceramic tiles in the bathroom. Floor came out better than the walls tbh. Imo the "Union Jack" cut wet room corner of the floor came out the best bit when it should have been the hardest. It is really quite remarkable. A couple of obvious low ones on the rest of the floor. Tiling the walls I hated tbh. Wish I'd used those levelling clips everywhere. Reading this thread though and feeling better about my diy efforts!

  12. Indeed, (as later covered by Steve Strange / Visage).
  13. That's a bit cruel... @pocster deserves a break...
  14. In the year 2025 If @Onoff is still alive...
  15. This is meant to get a white upvc infill panel some time...
  16. I fitted a sink very similar (Homebase) but put the wc like that back in the box and went wall hung. Much nicer to look at and easier to clean.....or so I'm told! A fiver says you fit a bog roll holder before I do! ?
  17. I've 16mm pex-al-pex to 15mm chrome like this:
  18. Marine ply is better quality as far as I'm aware, 100% void free. WBP isn't.
  19. Weather & Boil Proof
  20. It's pristine in my Geberit cistern: Thinking about mine, it's vented to the loft in 32mm solvent waste. Been like that since install. Initially just open to the loft (loosely capped) but of late connected to the bathroom extractor as a nod to extracting pan "smells". .
  21. Can't form if there's ice in there! ? Major fuel savings having an ice cold bathroom I find, nobody wants to go in there to run hot water! ?
  22. Keep the bathroom around 10degC and this is not an issue.
  23. He said the "word"! ?
