  1. Or tape up/ wrap up as I think it’s a better finish /less likely to damage plaster if the window boards are in prior to plastering
  2. https://www.bes.co.uk/copper-monobloc-tap-tails-m10-x-15mm-19800/ copper tails- still available
  3. The room looks lovely, it would bother me initially then I would forget about it as not important in the grand scheme of things but endeavour to make sure I didn’t do it again!
  4. Plus it’s a known product for builders to fit. not many trades doing CPD no taping of joints required which the builder will unlikely carry out to a good standard.
  5. 14. Try harder he’s a prick
  15. I think you would be best giving a specification of what you want to installers to ensure you get what you want. that way you can compare quotes. DHW under 50 deg is fine for me!
  16. Isn’t one of the tick boxes -do you own the property? so I think it would be an avenue to explore with planning
  17. Plenty of connectors that push on to the correct diameter cable so no need for a crimping tool if you aren’t doing loads
  18. Ok, but surely planning are concerned about if you own the property when an application is made ? Not so if 8” is on your land so the application is based on a lie?
  19. Amalgamating tape is good for outside connections to wrap around once complete
  20. If you look at the first picture, the gable is split in 2, one half brick one half render, with an extension spanning on the right hand side encroaching onto the left property
  21. Can you not speak to the planning /building control dept at the council??
  22. I’m a Schneider man myself for the BMS
  23. Not coax. Sat cable. It’s a better cable and less ‘lossy’ from a signal point of view I.e CT100
