    Passive slab

I remember the posts as it was happening like yesterday. Bloody 5 years ago. Costs don't seem to have changed much if 170m2 quote is recent. Bear in mind op that there will be many site specific variables coming out of ground
  2. Is it up to contractor to verify householders claim that property has been vacant for 2 years? It's not a reclaim scheme for householder is it
  3. Vat registered we get everything ex vat really @nod then we collect vat from customer if applicable. Vat is just a cash flow exercise
  4. I had one of these wall hung once. They're a lot of effort for that clear floor look aren't they. Well done anyway
  5. Just fitted a 2440 clear opening size seems wide enough. Keep in mind I'd want to leave at least 600mm nibs internally so you don't kill the side storage on yours
  6. Thanks all I am talking floating vinyl as opposed to stuck
  7. What's a good make to buy? I fitted some the other week and didn't really pay much attention to what brand it was. Are they all much of a much?
  8. Sorry mine was a typo meant to say dettol - bloody auto correct
  9. Detail while fitting a new bog. Poshest tradesman around!
  10. Not to hijack but i'm planning to use 10mm in a renovation scenario. It's a gravity fed system. It will be swapped over at some point to mains pressure. Is 10mm asking for trouble or will it be fine while on gravity? I assume if it works for 1/2" copper it should work fine for 10mm
  11. Tanking east but bit messy. What do the hardibacker boards rely on at joints, internals and shower tray? Ct1?
  12. Because these are fibreglass will it do away for need of liquid DPM too?
  13. What about accomodating the different floor level between rooms (used to be 2) Any recommendations on floor drain?
  14. Cheap vs expensive

  17. What about the trap and gubbins? Any reccomendations for a decent make
  18. So online some of these channel drains can be had around £50 with others from recognised names coming in around £200. What's the score?
  19. sides cut longer then notched at blockwork on bottom. Creates a drip
  20. Labour usually more expensive in summer as supply is shorter
  21. Does the novelty wear off after a week?
  22. Can we see the bikini model
  23. Thanks for replies. Will be mine yeh but not forever home. I always thought a tray was just neater less to worry about. The more I think about it though I'm leaning towards floor drain. I've got to rip existing (25/30mm) screed up in shower side of room anyway. Was previously two rooms and floor not level between them. I've also got to break out some concrete to get a drain in regardless of which option I go with as currently solid floor. I suppose if I go wet room style it means I'm deffo having tiled floor as opposed to vinyl planks etc If I rescreed at 30mm ish bonded to concrete below am I okay to liquid dpm on top then tile on top of that? No doubt there are adhesives suitable for on top of liquid dpm?
  24. anyone out there...
