    Stay away from that circular reveal I remember the blog post! So do you have to repair your air tight membrane after or is a vcl different? How do you do it go mad with tape?

    Maybe look up top first. Garden hose and someone inside on the phone although water can travel a lot. Its got to be around the junction of window and roof covering

    Does to £40m2 inc beams or just insulation. Where is your dpm if no polythene. Also I meant steel mesh in concrete, do you need this? Thanks for the detail very interesting.

    Does whatever your cladding the frame with have an impact too? Any kind of masonry don't you end up with a mini strip found around the outside sure one member had here

    Should be an 8" pipe not 6" but I like living on the edge. Insulation and stainless steel scouring pads as packing as per @Jeremy Harris advice

    What kind of building trade quote a crazy hourly rate? I reckon 30quid he would be about top line in Midlands without being a super specialist. Whereas m2 blokes can earn 500 in a day on the right job. What's a tiler earnon a good day @nod?

    I've gone for a frameless full enclosure to 2 sides with pivot door. Less places for the gunk as @joe90 says but still keeps all the splash in. I've got a rainfall head and reckon you'd need 1500mm to avoid splash

    I find the most expensive people are on a m2 rate or fixed price. Nobody really comes out with crazy day rates.

    Has that skirting firred up yet next to shower @joe90? I found the mitres in my old place firring after being mopped near even though glued well. I used timber skirts in this place but even with knitting some have come through. Everything is crap now. How much better is MR mdf in real life?

    Went halfs with my mate on on of those kind of lifters recently. Don't you find them flimsy? Might just be the way he put it together. I've defintley used better. What gun you using for the screws I got one of the dewalt ones good for the money.

    No way will a surveyor ever notice 30mm. 300 maybe. Anyway I'm sure there's an indemnity for such situations
