  1. Do you really need to weather-compensate the DHW temp? I use the timer function on our iVT9 for what you're proposing, basically doing a set-back of DHW temp overnight and then boosting it just before the end of the E7 timeslot, ready for showers
  2. check tinternet for piccies of the bare valve so you know where to aim for
  3. are you sure the contactors aren't the "other" way round, or their stats set so that the "wrong" one is doing the heavy lifting?
  4. I think the Graf is like the Solido, with a pumped discharge using an airlift? @flanagaj I believe there's now a version of Solido with Nitrate reduction using a dosing system- have you seen it?

  14. practice and youtube. There were some great videos from (IIRC) Volvo in the US that helped me understand some of the stuff I'd watched my groundworker pal do so delicately
  15. If you only want cheapo softwood linings, Howdens do some useful sizes, like 115mm for 89CLS + PB
  16. post a photo of the top of the soil stack at the roof
  17. getting that glazing bar at the right height can reduce costs too as it can allow a downgrade in the glass above it. Our archtect designed this into our large front windows.
  18. blue square thing looks like a transit foam that hasn't been removed from the unit?
  19. Our Bronpi does the same kind of thing occasionally, I think the term is "cold plug". Gotta use a bigger than expected starter to get things moving.
  20. Do you really need a Radon survey? Look at the map yourself and see what the risk level is first...
  21. B&Q manage to get ex-tradies with *some* level of knowledge, to assist the punters
  22. add another rubber washer
  23. I'd presume it was above FFL but hang on for confirmation...
