Ask for specifics what they want. ref scaff if it was put up by a professional pass on their details etc if you put it up then ask a professianl firm to come inspect it and give you a cert. If they are asking for anything blatently unreasonable tell them that and say you will appeal any enforcement and ask for costs. Appeals take a year so you will have likely finished the build by then anyway and it will be moot.

the only way to get combi levels of hot water with ASHP is more tanks and a higher storage temp. From our experience 3 x 250 L at 75C would mean zero chance of running out, below that we do run out at times, not often but it happens.

A lot of porcelain manufacturers advise not to lay in brick bond anymore as the larger format tiles are not exactly flat and bow slightly in middle due to the firing process which leads to tiny lips everywhere which is a trip hazard.
