  2. To make life a bit easer Clean the brick faces off with a wire brush add a bonding agent SBR or Unibond to 5 parts water and a few handfuls of dry cement and paint it on the area to patch Leave it for a couple of hours Then apply your first coat You will find that it sticks much better and doesn’t dry as Quik Second coat can go on after a couple of hours

No we don’t have MV We have a large hall and landing and the UFH heats the upstairs We spent a bit on three full height stainless towel rails for the bathrooms Exspensive decoration In reality I don’t think we will ever use them -6 over Christnas We had the UFH on at 22 but still had to open windows in the bedrooms We were tempted to add a MV system Not a great deal of extra cost But a friend of ours complains about outside smells circulating around his house So we decided not to

  11. If you use The gypsum tilebacker board dabbed onto the wall You simply let the drywall set then drill 6 mill hole in the dabs and fix with the tilevacker knockins A top for anyone using the BG tilebacker boards They are not suitable for DD without mechanical fixings
  12. To be honest Ian Its safer two people on a tower than one with a boardlifter single handed on a slope They can tip Ive a boardlifter that I done use that you can borrow and I could call up and give you a lift to get your slope out of the way if you like We don’t want you to be the first forum death Gary
