  1. Any use: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.resol.de/Produktdokumente/48005931_DeltaSol_BS_Plus_V2.monen.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjO-9HorM_yAhX-h_0HHeXJBEcQFnoECAgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2heYqDTppJTSYgTXHhY1qs
  2. Hi Niel I'm sure you'll take into consideration level access and less able requirements, for your relative, in the build to ensure your help lasts as a long time. Best M
  3. Learn as much as you can here before you start and learn by others mistakes (and mine). Otherwise you end up muttering about how you could have done better, and would the next time (your now an addict). Good luck M
  4. Sorry this was missed... Two reasons the water can run: The filler valve (part 37905) is not sealing off properly causing the tank to fill to high causing the water to rise over the overflow level and empty in to the pan The seal on the flushing mechanism is not sealing completely causing water to trickle through into the pan. These things often happen in hard water areas when there is no softener device. If your on a meter, keep isolated when not in use. Good luck M
  5. Might try coolenergy. I use their 60 litre one.
  6. On this one the problem was solved by ducting terminating at the sides.
  7. I would check the regulations on air brick requirements first as they have changed over the years. You may find that the one you want to cover is not required now. What I would do: Add an airbrick to the side of the building where there is going to be no patio. or Add an airbrick in the wall 150mm above the patio each side of the patio doors ducted down. or Break down below the airbrick and extend a duct under the proposed patio foundations to come out either on a side or at the end of the patio or What ever the next bright spark has that is better. Good luck M
  8. However, never fitted this frame type. However this frame design looks different than the picture frame style that used to be done by adding a frame outside of the cabinets, so inbetween above and below a box. Looks nice, alot of work Good luck. M
  9. Used Howdens for over 20 years without a major problem. Damaged bits always replaced. Sometimes a few bits a couple of days late. There not perfect but neither am I. Quite happy with the team on the island.
  10. Maybe a basic question but not a daft question!
  11. Never use PTFE to seal the trap to the waste! The only worse ones I have been asked to fix are plumbers mate used to fit traps to shower trays!!! I have had to cut down the thread several times but always file the easy brass level and silicone. It's never about being perfect (just as well as I'm not), but being able to overcome the challenges properly. M
  12. Alot of messing about and a lot of parts.....
  13. It's the October sale coming up...
  14. I always give the port valve in this situation a resounding tap just in case it frees it up. I have often had success on circulation pumps the same way after not being used all summer..
  15. In the long term I like the idea of generating some of my own power for our ASHP. Something I cannot do with a gas boiler... I know the set up cost is a lot but with the PV being used for the EV and the house as well I'm happy to go there.
  16. I have a Coolenergy CE -iVT9 installed. This is the first few months. We removed the bottled gas boiler and installed the ASHP on the radiator system. I do not know what the results will be but so far so good. It runs quietly and the controls are not too difficult for us to use.
  17. Yes, but with the usual models the water is also not very deep.
  18. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/britain-obesity-toilet-ideal-standard-17231254 Trust the Daily Star to make a comment. But does this mean that moldy actually has a different problem?
  19. +1 to all four above replies!
  20. Thought it depended also on the diameter of the pipe...
  21. Sound travel considerations: What's on the en-suite floor? Tiles? What's the height of the gap under the door? Is the loo around a corner or facing the door? Will the room have any sound absorption in it? Is the room to be fully tiled? Maybe be a good pocket door, but the gap and acoustics can work against you. Good luck M
  22. and starting ?s LOL.

  24. Don't know your situation so... You may need a water softener. You can check with your local water supplier what hardness your water supply is. If you need a water softener you may need to consider where it will go and how the plumbing would work including the non softened water to any outside tap. Good luck M
  25. No limescale protection can cause problems with non symphonic flushing systems.
