Top right corner of picture could maybe loss one pipe but depends on calculations. I hope to have 220m2 with one down pipe (big stainless gutter!) But still to double check my calculations.

As bassanclan says you probably could ditch 3 downpipes check figures with a few suppliers websites. One website used figure of further north (aberdeenshire) less rain than south coast (devon). Also downpipes work better in the middle of gutter runs. I don't see a problem with carrying a gutter around the corner then into the downpipes or down pipe into ceramic tiles but of the two I would personally keep it in the corner and through the ceramic tiles. Just personal choice.

I can get six slate nails (stainless).....

I was hoping wind and water tight was half way ???? Pretty bang on budget at half way (slate, render and windows) but what I didn't see coming was tools/toys approx £35k....

I had a similar experience with sunamp, many phone calls and promises of to phone back when somebody was available and nothing (over a few weeks). I did contact AndyT direct who made time (on his own time) to explain a few things, ultimately the system didn't fit what we needed but high possibility we will be using a unit on build 2.

My 1st thoughts was for the sake of £100 of pipe just stick it in and worry about it later.

This is our plan.... We would be using micro inverters if we didn't have already a inverter. The panels will be in roof and are having each join between the panels in the attic so we can check individual panels, bypass a failed panel or add in micro inverters in the future without going on the roof. We will be using ufh pipe (12mm) as a sleeve, making up 6mm mc4 male/female cable extensions so not removing the connectors on the panel (this would invalidate the warranty), thread the extensions through the 12mm mlcp, spraying approx 400mm open cell insulation to seal one side of the pipe and using air barrier tape to seal the cable to the mlcp pipe.

Just to update, in the end i went the FIT direction. £4.9k, 4.7kw in roof system. Ok branded black panels, GSE in roof kit but no inverter ( I ended up with 4kw SMA inverter in the bulk deal with solar thermal panels). Little mark up here and there but i reckon its costing me all in approx £1200 extra for the FIT, My slater (me) is also in charge of installing the gse kit.

Foaming at the mouth about foam

Sorry bud but this made me laugh this morning???? -
Just reading my comment back it is not 100% clear. WB had two main burners in the whole range. The round one(ri, I and si) made in the UK 12-30kw and the square one (cdi) made in Germany 25-42kw. Sorry to get off topic again.
-
Good spot, I missed that. The si should be supplied deactivated but the danfoss can be reset over the phone with a code but only for a gas safe engineer. Still safer without the si part.

The horstmann used to be very expensive and the only 3 channel in the local plumb merchant but that was a few years go. If down to a decent price then it's s no brainer!
-
We have only installed one 3 channel timer in the past due to cost. We usually used two clocks, a single channel and a twin channel clock when we needed 3 channels. EBay was a good source with both clocks could be picked up for less than £35 (for both) . I always liked danfoss times for no other reason than I found them easy to set up but Honeywell, Drayton where both good aswell.

That would make sense but not really. Pre ERP (haven't worked on latest genetarion) worcester greenstar boiler had two burners. One burner was shared from 12kw system to 30kw combi. Apart from the DHW side being added the only thing changed was the chip on the pcb which changed the speed of the fan. Always confused me when the charged so much for the 40kw heat only boiler!!
-
I remember a worcester greenstar combi that had the option of changing a chip so the heating output was 12kw??
