why does a buffer need a PRV?

I'd put money on the top weld of the housing having a crack in it

How to assemble cement mixer drum please?
dpmiller replied to akash's topic in Bricklaying, Blockwork & Mortar
I think you need to push the drum on a little further so that the pin drops *behind* the bearing. It's only a retainer after all -
depends, might need to be 100mA time delay to give sufficient discrimination

should there not have been a piece of tanking stuck down with the liquid membrane? this kinda thing https://www.sealantsandtoolsdirect.co.uk/aquaseal-wet-room-tanking-waterproof-drain-mat-aqwrsdrain?language=en-gb¤cy=GBP&gclid=Cj0KCQjw98ujBhCgARIsAD7QeAjDtCOWDv1UN_Y0-iR4-zW7p74e7RzZ5rYVIP8WokopUpJvDQ0l8bcaApXPEALw_wcB

Gap for washing machine, is 600mm ok

make sure the trailing lead is sized correctly for the load. -
you understand how a water trap works, yes?

7N is actually 7.5... https://www.mannokbuild.com/aircrete-thermal-blocks/

depends which part of the UK...

who or what is the management company? Is this a project manager or is it a rented property?

Depending on demand, pipe lengths and sizing, you might even *need* a second pump on the primary to get the required flows. We have two, and the ASHP's internal one has no issues slowing down enough to allow full modulation.

All sorted thanks Dave, 300Mb/s with Zen. I'll be interested to see how long it takes next door to get their Fibrus, there was a guy there this morning to do it followed by much headshaking and pointing at poles so... nada.
-
So after a long wait for OR to update their database we were able to order service, and it was installed on Wednesday. The neighbours both seem to have taken Fibrus up on their current offer so... yep, another run of fibres will soon reside on the pole outside our window. Oddly enough tho, we *still* can't order with Fibrus. Seems they're more interested in the Project Stratum money? Our address didn't exist when the survey was carried out.

CoolEnergy controller has a 4- point scheduler so yes, you can alter DHW setpoint. I do just this to bring the tank up towards the end of the E7 window, ready for the morning showers
-
Nope, I just live here and occasionally look at displays... remembering that my setup is a touch odd (it's a TS, and all flow through the ASHP passes through the coil as a buffer) the bottom sensor- which really *is* at the bottom, below the coil and lower immersion, generally sits between 30 and 40c but on days with good PV will end up at 90c...
-
somewhere around 1.5kWh for a reheat back to 54c
-
I've sensors top, middle, and bottom of the tank. The coil and both upper and lower immersions reside below the middle sensor, and this is the sensor for ASHP control. It doesn't respond meaningfully to the convective flow past it, only rising when the HW level is right down on it and the heat pump will then cut out. At this stage the top of the tank will be a few degrees higher, approaching the flow temperature.

Cement mixer hire or buy?
dpmiller replied to CalvinHobbes's topic in General Self Build & DIY Discussion
Not so many of them, this wee side of the Pond -
it's the amount of export that makes the voltage rise, regardless of how many inverters you have. Inverters work by pushing power into the house and grid. More production, less load in the house, and poor DNO infrastructure all have the same effect- to make local grid voltage rise.

Solic 200 like Blackpool Lights - Help Needed
dpmiller replied to canalsiderenovation's topic in Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
that's interesting. As the iBoost's tiny fan runs during all diversion they've definitely done something. Mahoosive heatsink maybe... -
umm, do you realise just how heavy a Sunamp is?
