  1. do you mean the joists are into the web of the RSJ ? Whats above ?
  2. it doesnt, but it is good practice i guess.
  3. placeholder will add later.
  4. buy or hire a laser , will take 10 mins.
  5. just need a laser level and its sorted. set chamber B the deepest it will go and still give fall to the mains and work back. who said you needed a pumped chamber ? topo survey normally lift the lids and give an invert reading.
  6. in a nutshell, chamber B needs to be HIGHER than the mains chamber by 13mm/m or 420mm to achive a minimum fall.
  7. 11.8 seems bloody deep, are you sure its over 11m deep or are you referencing a datum ?
  8. bed is irrelevant, they lay them to a string line set with a fall. If your paver doesn't know how to lay to a string line get another one.
  9. get it scaffolded, while they are doing it ask them for a good roofer they do work for all the time.
  10. agree with both! Have to make sure you have a good sealed lid on the chamber or it will lift it off. We had 12m of 63mm to lay and as you say its not a pleasant job.
  11. if you have the height false ceiling is cheapest option.
  12. why bother with concrete its not needed. good 6" well compacted hardcore base and the slabs laid on a good bed of sharp sand and cement. They will never move.
  13. 63mm is standard, you can get a 63 to 110 coupler.
  14. expamet should really be used on piers not wall ties, costs peanuts as well.
  15. you could straighten the run between the pumping station and tank and get away with a single chamber and do the same with the outflow. They are cheap and easy to install now and come the unplanned blockage you will be very glad you added them.
  16. they may still have access rights over it even if its not stated on the deeds if its been used over an extended period.
  17. you need proof the neighbour is parking on your land. Personally i would get an indemnity policy from the seller that you can claim against come the day you move the fence onto the neighbours space and it kicks off.
  18. check the original permission to see if PD rights were withdrawn.
  19. economy7 night storeage.
  20. this is correct, recipe for disaster if not done correctly.
  21. liquid metal is future
  22. read https://www.molevalley.gov.uk/CausewayDocList/DocServlet?ref=MO/2012/1612&docid=435467
  23. it wouldnt be too difficult. drop your side and maintain the ridge to keep next door watertight while you rebuild your side. Looks harder than it would be.
