Sorry should be window open even in the winter.

A friend of mine said to me the other day that he had purchased a very small fan heater, 200 watts, to plug in under his wifes desk, who works from home. She said that it dries out the air. I mentioned it to my wife who said "Yeah, horid things that dry out the air, and make her eyes dry" Is that true? If so what dries out the air more. Wet central heating (rads). Wet central heating (underfloor) Electric mat heating. infared heating. Fan blower heating ? I never did pay attention in physics but say no heating is used, and the temp outside is the same as the temp inside. would the moisture content be the same in the air ? I thought hot air could hold more moisture than cold air. Is any of this the reason why my wife wants a window open even in the summer ?

I doubt the window company will be interested after all this time.

Fab place with a bit of land around it. I love this picture. to me it says. small hobbit person, with a huge shovel, loading a giant wheelbarrow that once full they will never be able to move. Over that low ledge is a cliff face with a sixty foot drop to the crashing waves below. Just reminds me of land of the giants. Having spent all of my summer holidays every year in Ireland, i though all of the houses were damp. All the ones i stayed in were. In the morning when there had been no fire lit, the bedclothes were always damp, and it was not because i had weed myself.

I have got the Festool and the 2 1400mm tracks that join together for cutting longer boards. Expensive but very good.

Leave it alone. Lapped the wrong way is not a problem. A bit of water pooling might be unsightly, but not a problem.

You are some sort of mastic filler. You should be able to get something that would be a close colour match. Have a word with your flooring guy.

No vacancies, or elections at the moment. in fairness i dont intend staying in the area. However, i did take an active part in the local neighbourhood plan. This was made up of one member of the P.C. and the rest of us just residents. About 10 people in total. Most of the residents openly said that they wanted to help because they wanted to block any new housing. We wrote a series of questions and hand delivered about 5000 of them. had about 450 responses. Held an open day etc etc. The leader then said that the responses would be run passed the P.C. I questioned why, as this should be what the local people want, not the P.C. I was then told that any policies would have to align with the wishes of the P.C. That was when i walked. I then found that in the first draft of policies that they had written had little to do with the responses from the public, and everything to do with what the P.C. wanted. Parish Councils should be wound up.

Actually i have just had a thought. We should all be complete experts in the NPPF and all of the local councils saved policies / local plan, etc. That way we could tick a box at the end of our applications to say that we have considered and met all the local and national Policies. That would save the planning officers having to do anything except send out our approved letters. Some of them might actually get the letters out within 8 weeks then. Obviously not all of them. That would be way too hard.
