I think I read somewhere that it wasn't as easy to find cheap deals to change to if that matters to you
-
no idea if it would stick to glass, but maybe contact the manufacturer - but if you masked nice straight finished edges, could you use something like Acrypol?

Anyone confirm this? Is only 4mm the difference between a floor that you would feel bounce and one you wouldn't? -

I've had the same sort of issue, my room attic trusses, the floor in some places had a deflection amount of 19mm. I was told it was much better than industry standard and not to worry about it at all -

Just out of interest, why's it better?
-
why not just send your plans to B&B suppliers yourself
-
Is it a B&B supplier who's done the drawings or your structural engineer?? Exactly what Russell said is what happened with mine. I had to cut down a row of blocks as obviously you will be left with an un-exact block gap

Dropping support is one thing, bricking your old kit that you own is a different matter though -

Says a lot that they still thought of the idea of screwing existing customers though! -

Just reading your OP, so are they asking for an extra £1500 in total after the job is done???? -

isn't the issue not telling the customer there's an extra cost until it's done though. £75 would be "just do it" but surely not £750! -

That would really get my back up. If there was such a huge "extra", they should agree it with you not do it and then tell you at the end. Me personally, I would never rip off a trade, but I wouldn't be paying that. He gave you a price and should stick to it! -
and could you make sure they would arrive 100% intact with overseas shipping?

So they stop you from making any money back by selling them on? Top recycling by them -
no site visit as far as I know, certainly not with me anyway

I did 2 lots of pre planning and they both took the full time limit they quoted - 3 months (almost to the day)
