  1. Bin builder A, if that’s the level of communication shown while trying to impress/quote/win contract , it’s only going to go down hill once he’s appointed
  2. Couldn’t see them drying much with various ratings up to 30 watts but look nice just to hold a towel
  3. Fast chargers can be anything from 7 to 22 kW. You could have these loads programmed to come on, off peak so again it can minimise your load by careful time shifting. I have 7kW and it’s fine for my car. overnight charge - not sure what they Mean by that, but could be a granny charger socket on a 13amp socket? you really need to work out loads first to get an accurate basis for your design. 3 phase 100 amp would cope admirably but you could be paying over the odds for capacity that you won’t use. 3 phase 60 amp could be fine and like wise 3 phase 80 amp could fine.
  4. Do you want 3 phase Ev chargers? Can you fit more than the standard 16amp single phase supply worth of PV on your roof/ ground mount? are we talking 10.8kW type Mira sport showers? what type of cooker hobs and ovens? will you be using 3 phase equipment anywhere?
  5. https://the-regs.co.uk/blog/?p=223 have a look at this to work out diversity foegwt about TVs etc loads are negligible be concerned about heating, water heating , cooking. ev charging
  6. Are the power showers really electric?
  7. I have 2 amp sockets switched from the door position in my rooms. table lamps and floor standing lamps plugged in corresponding 2amp sockets. works for me.
  8. kVAx1000 (divided by line voltage x root 3
  9. The power output is depended on what is available at your location, condition of the infrastructure etc . not what the size of transformer may be. for example 100 amp fuse carriers are standard but may be fitted with 60 amp fuses, or 80. Depends what’s available and what you want to pay for/mixture of both
  10. Use The 230 volt to feed a coil of a relay and then use the switched contacts as volt free teminals
  11. How would we know how long they release toxins? best ask the manufacturer of the product you intend to fit to ensure you child’s safety.
  12. Well 3phase 100 amp is a 70 KvA supply.
  13. Just like the dafties that bolted windsave units to the side of their houses.....
  14. you can get away with having a smaller drop on the guttering if it helps take it closer to a stock timber dimension.
  15. Seal around pendant cable penetrations if any? or fire hoods around downlighting if they aren’t fire rated.
  16. The guy I share an office with puts everything on his credit card and pays it off every month to benefit from the air miles etc.
  17. Hope it all goes well.
  18. I think coupled with some perimeter security lighting and other security measures you are at least trying to provide a layer of security. I look at my neighbour’s house and mine and even a quick look when doing the evening exercise/walk around the block from the main road they would be an easier target.
  19. Personally if I could run an 8 core cable to each location I would! cable is cheap as chips
  20. Yep
  21. Pyronix enforcer. Wireless with app for setting /unsetting, monitor movement in the house while inset with 2 programmable outputs to switch external loads
  22. Agree much nicer end grain to finish off
  23. Pyronix or Texecom would be my choice for a home system
  24. I have a few monitored systems at work, the older ones use redcare and the associated silly cost of such a line, currently phasing them out. the more modern alarms use a data connection/broadband connection as the means of signalling and a GSM as a back up.- dualcom being the one we use.
  25. Nothing wrong with the 35mm feeding that many houses, DNO Diversity probably allows 2-5kVA per house anyway. possible exception of London due to the density.
