  1. Yeah but that’s crap ! There’s a bloody rsj there - fix to that !
  2. For the cost of the stairs I’ll make bloody sure some kind of metal bracket off the top stair is welded / bolted to the steel by them
  3. This is the type of thing I would have thought . I’ll wait for their drawings . The fact they want me to in fill the steel with timber seems pointless
  4. What’s the ‘standard’ way to fix a self supporting staircase at the top tread ? I’ve got a nice rsj there which I assumed the company would be happy to fix too . But they want me to bolt noggins in and ‘pack out ‘ to the face on the steel . This seems pointless to me and not very good - are they really going to hang off some bolted timber when they could ( should ? ) bolt directly to the rsj .
  5. My uvc is probably 10m from the ASHP - all pipework insulated of course . Batteries outside are temperamental to temperature unless a Tesla ( has cooling and heating ) . My inverter outside also - about 1m from batteries . No issues
  6. Crumbs - you’d be no fun in a cubicle!
  7. I like it that afterwards we can all dry off under the hand dryer together . Very intimate and rewarding experience.
  8. You have much to learn my friend ….
  9. Fair point . I must admit cramming a few guys in a standard cubicle is tight ; so much more room in the disabled toilets for introductions .
  10. Anyway . You really shouldn’t be taking photos in men’s toilets . You can get into trouble for that .
  11. Thought initially it was an incubator you were taking a photo of
  12. Yes . A nice hidden pleasure dungeon for sure .
  13. Look what I found Recommended drill bits …. Dewalt of course 💪
  14. These are non sds version . Wondering if sds version of this would be better as can use meatier drill
  15. Mag drill was ace ! Made the job easy . Staircase company need me to attach timber to the steel rsj but I can’t get my mag drill in the tight space . Got some of these … it’s going to be a long hard slog ! - is there any better bit to use ???
  16. I can confirm v2 of the battery has no fire extinguisher. Also I believe it’s a smaller unit because of this . The fire extinguisher took up a good amount of space .
  17. I let a hose slowly run over mine in the daytime for at least the 1st day . You want it to cure slowly . Keep it damp
  18. Yes ! You’ve ignored my advice . None the less payment is still expected as detailed in the T & C ‘s
  19. I’m currently helping @Thorfun out as a consultant on a suspended ceiling .
  20. Guys ! I will help you ALL out . I can do any trade you like for £500 a day .
  21. I did a seperate hep run off 1 manifold for all outlets ; so washer , dishwasher, wc , sink , freezer etc . Much easier to isolate - only 2place’s ( in theory ) for a leak - at appliance or at manifold . Overkill maybe - but peace of mind .
  22. I would image zigbee would be ok with this . I suppose as an experiment you could embed one in concrete just to test . I’m quite surprised with the range of zigbee - I have plenty of concrete and steel in the way .
  23. @SteamyTea is sad - this is one for him
  24. Yeah . Perfect answer . You’re doomed
