  1. I like it that afterwards we can all dry off under the hand dryer together . Very intimate and rewarding experience.
  2. You have much to learn my friend ….
  3. Fair point . I must admit cramming a few guys in a standard cubicle is tight ; so much more room in the disabled toilets for introductions .
  4. Anyway . You really shouldn’t be taking photos in men’s toilets . You can get into trouble for that .
  5. Thought initially it was an incubator you were taking a photo of
  6. Yes . A nice hidden pleasure dungeon for sure .
  7. Look what I found Recommended drill bits …. Dewalt of course 💪
  8. These are non sds version . Wondering if sds version of this would be better as can use meatier drill
  9. Mag drill was ace ! Made the job easy . Staircase company need me to attach timber to the steel rsj but I can’t get my mag drill in the tight space . Got some of these … it’s going to be a long hard slog ! - is there any better bit to use ???
  10. I can confirm v2 of the battery has no fire extinguisher. Also I believe it’s a smaller unit because of this . The fire extinguisher took up a good amount of space .
  11. I let a hose slowly run over mine in the daytime for at least the 1st day . You want it to cure slowly . Keep it damp
  12. Yes ! You’ve ignored my advice . None the less payment is still expected as detailed in the T & C ‘s
  13. I’m currently helping @Thorfun out as a consultant on a suspended ceiling .
  14. Guys ! I will help you ALL out . I can do any trade you like for £500 a day .
  15. I did a seperate hep run off 1 manifold for all outlets ; so washer , dishwasher, wc , sink , freezer etc . Much easier to isolate - only 2place’s ( in theory ) for a leak - at appliance or at manifold . Overkill maybe - but peace of mind .
  16. I would image zigbee would be ok with this . I suppose as an experiment you could embed one in concrete just to test . I’m quite surprised with the range of zigbee - I have plenty of concrete and steel in the way .
  17. @SteamyTea is sad - this is one for him
  18. Yeah . Perfect answer . You’re doomed
  19. Shhhhhhhh . Framed tile system SE costs = 0 ( that’s less than 25 quid 😉 )
  20. Don’t know . I , like you , will stick a speaker in and find out . If it’s an issue I’ll bolt some kind of timber support off my beam n block . For a “ tv room” I really wouldn’t worry about how the ceiling looks . Decent lights , nice speakers - who is really going to care or comment ? . Saves you tons of headache and gives you access to everything.
  21. Mate ! I know (expletive deleted) all Yet I am ( still ) building a mostly underground house with all the issues that entails . Ignorance is bliss . Many have said “ you don’t know what you don’t know “ If I had understood everything from the start then a) I’m a seasoned pro and it’s easy b) (expletive deleted) that ! 😁😎 . What’s life without adventure and risk ? ( ignoring all the shit bits of course ) .
  22. Thought you were doing the whole basement with a drop ceiling ?? - why just this 1 room ?
  23. Yes . Buts it’s f all . Wire is roughly every 2metres . Frame weighs f all . Tiles are lightweight and their load is spread over the frame and other wires .
  24. What’s the cost estimate for your ceiling ? Timber , pb , skim , paint ? Your area slightly larger than mine I believe
  25. Yes ! But with nice simple hammer in bolts and wire …
