  1. Strange pump and manifold doesn't line up, is the pump housing 130mm in length? Not a major just adjust brackets to fit pump. I always position isolating valves as shown in your picture and add in extra other side of pump so pump can be replaced easily enough if needs be.
  2. Stunning. Can I ask who supplied the stair case, also what is the internal radius of curve and step length.
  3. I feel your pain. We were approx 12k for approx 250m of cable layed through the a farmer's park Inc me digging the trench and back filling. We run the water pipes in at the same time. There was a transformer upgrade but we only paid a percentage of cost in relation to transformer capacity. We tried to get prices for the contestable stuff but they were more expensive than the DNO.
  4. @nod that Turkish vitra ok? I am looking at them for the garage. Vitra dotti r9.
  5. Thanks for the replies. Just what I was thinking. We paid deposit in october, waiting for final date for replacement panes expect 6-8 weeks from now.
  6. We didn't use anything less than 110mm for through slab. For the island as example we used 110mm and will immediately cut to appropriate size above slab. All pipe goes into a swept 90 and straight out ie no T's under slab. It will be fun and games when we try and connect all these tails up outside......
  7. We had a ridiculous amount of vertical 12mm rebar between slab and icf (no retaining walls). Next build with a basement think I might just give power wash can't do any harm? Every day is a school day.
  8. New to me aswell. Our concrete seemed pretty solid. Is that not more for screeds? I can't say I have ever seen anybody power washing concrete between pours Inc big commercial projects.
  9. We used to take the plastic pipe rite up to the trv on radiators on contract jobs and used the chrome fitting. It actually left a very tidy job.
  10. Better not be..... or I am buggered, lot of unhappy customers.. I have been using them to join mlcp to brass compression for last 15 years.
  11. Regarding 15 v 16mm as mentioned above. No reason why you can't use 16mm mlcp for domestic water but probably will need to use standard compression fittings plus a adaptor. You also get them in chrome. Roughly £1 each.
  12. +1 for something solid below metal.
  13. Am I reading correct the glasses amount above is over a 2 year period?
  14. Thank you. That's similar to my company quoted. But I was more meaning true length Inc installation any problems etc. I am trying to figure it if I am being unreasonable. I was expecting final window and all problems sorted out next week...
  15. Without going into to much detail, what is the average length of time from paying deposit until final payment retainer is made for a supply and install windows?
  16. I wouldn't touch a iPhone with a bargepole!!!! ??? I am happy to stick to something that has been installed locally for over 20 years with no problems. It would be interesting on how much it costs direct.... buildhub group purchase.... 20km of 16mm buildhub branded mlcp.....
  17. A lot of the pipe is still manufactured in Germany and Italy.
  18. Sorry bud, I don't think I would. Pretty sure it's Chinese not European made.
  19. We have some cello tv's in a b&b, pretty good so far. I bought from eBay, I think direct from factory slightly cheaper than Cpc.
  20. In a perfect world terrestrial coverage backed up with a smart TV. Keep it simple if you provide it and they can't work it, it will be your fault. People who can work Netflix etc are catered for with their own account. I think I would supply a new smart tv. Personally I would be more happy with good Wi-Fi and decent coffee machine than a tv.
  21. A week, pretty handy to know for build 2. My nudara came from Canada.... it was many weeks & late!!!??
  22. @Triassic try living further north, most suppliers thinks the UK stops at Edinburgh/Glasgow. I feel for the guys who live on the islands! Just out of curiosity what is the lead time of amvic at the moment?
  23. I have chosen to build a 3 sided basement as it best suites the site. I wouldn't choose to build one if site was flat or many acres and ground around here is relatively cheap. Can't comment on cost as I will be doing it myself. Not to bothered about leakage with being 3 sided design, tanking & will also be using waterproof concrete and everything goes along with that.
  24. That's a heavy bill, does that include heating the pool?
  25. Sorry I was a bit sharp with the free code. I have been to a fair few shows on both sides of the line (public&trade) and it's not my cup of tea, but without getting into the discussion of is a show worth it there has been a lot of positive feed back on here on shows. If i was passing through the airport I would certinaĺy be taking up your offer. I hope somebody gets the good of your tickets and it's a successful show for you.
