depends which part of the UK...

who or what is the management company? Is this a project manager or is it a rented property?

Depending on demand, pipe lengths and sizing, you might even *need* a second pump on the primary to get the required flows. We have two, and the ASHP's internal one has no issues slowing down enough to allow full modulation.
-
All sorted thanks Dave, 300Mb/s with Zen. I'll be interested to see how long it takes next door to get their Fibrus, there was a guy there this morning to do it followed by much headshaking and pointing at poles so... nada.
-
So after a long wait for OR to update their database we were able to order service, and it was installed on Wednesday. The neighbours both seem to have taken Fibrus up on their current offer so... yep, another run of fibres will soon reside on the pole outside our window. Oddly enough tho, we *still* can't order with Fibrus. Seems they're more interested in the Project Stratum money? Our address didn't exist when the survey was carried out.

CoolEnergy controller has a 4- point scheduler so yes, you can alter DHW setpoint. I do just this to bring the tank up towards the end of the E7 window, ready for the morning showers

Nope, I just live here and occasionally look at displays... remembering that my setup is a touch odd (it's a TS, and all flow through the ASHP passes through the coil as a buffer) the bottom sensor- which really *is* at the bottom, below the coil and lower immersion, generally sits between 30 and 40c but on days with good PV will end up at 90c...
-
somewhere around 1.5kWh for a reheat back to 54c
-
I've sensors top, middle, and bottom of the tank. The coil and both upper and lower immersions reside below the middle sensor, and this is the sensor for ASHP control. It doesn't respond meaningfully to the convective flow past it, only rising when the HW level is right down on it and the heat pump will then cut out. At this stage the top of the tank will be a few degrees higher, approaching the flow temperature.

Cement mixer hire or buy?

Not so many of them, this wee side of the Pond -
it's the amount of export that makes the voltage rise, regardless of how many inverters you have. Inverters work by pushing power into the house and grid. More production, less load in the house, and poor DNO infrastructure all have the same effect- to make local grid voltage rise.

Solic 200 like Blackpool Lights - Help Needed

that's interesting. As the iBoost's tiny fan runs during all diversion they've definitely done something. Mahoosive heatsink maybe... -
umm, do you realise just how heavy a Sunamp is?
-
yes! make it even harder to install!
-
yep we've some like that and it looks grand.

Any chance of an audio clip of the fan sometime please and pics of same? We've an iBoost and the tiny fan in it is a. noisy and b. only barely copes with the heat. The CE unit looks like a virtual clone of the iBoost except for the case being bigger so I wonder if they've improved the cooling -
For the short time an extraction hood is *actually* needed, some of us are happy to put up with this "loss of benefit". After all, we each live in a home, not a showhouse. / run-of-the-mill cooking like a wee bit of steam coming off your pot of spuds is dealt with just fine by MVHR with the extract placed in the vicinity of the cooker. But burn the toast or fancy a bit of stir-fry? I'll vent that out urgently thankyouverymuch.

F7 filter material

yep, that should be fine -
what age is this "kid"?

surely the whole point of beads is that moisture *won't* cross them...

need to read the rating plate on the motor to confirm the voltage.
