Slightly off topic but I refoofed a Wendy house with 18mm OSB3 then painted it with No Nonsense wood treatment. I never got around to felting the roof, just slung a tarp on weighted down with some roof tiles. It's been like that for about 3 years now. The edges of the OSB3 have "grown" as in they've thickened from 18mm. Would the wood treatment maybe break down the glues used to hold the OSB3 together? I see OSB3 used all the time on here I know. I don't think I've ever seen anyone paint it with anything.

I still don't reckon it's as good as marine ply on a flat roof. Screws hold better, edges hold up better etc. (I'll probably get some stick for that).

Is Caber or Egger ever used on a "flat" roof? Guessing not as fibreglass or EPDM might not stick to it?

Did a course a while back and the instructor had had to park in a local NCP. Asked for a couple volunteers to go to his BMW and grab the course material. He watched us remotely from his phone and unlocked the boot when we got there. Said it's dead handy if out shopping and the wife / kids get back to the car before he does.

Love it...but what stops the "infilled" walls compressing over time and creating a gap at the top? Did you have to wire it in MICC/FP?

If you like the style then go for it. Ftting should be easy enough. Not so sure about the £349 RRP though! On frames go for a name like Geberit or Grohe I would.

The Helm tracks go down to really small sizes. Helm track 300 for instance is only 35 X 40mm and tested to 170kg. It's all about how you hide the track.

I used to use Helm 600 in 6m lengths. Helm 700 for bigger jobs. BEH_0609.pdf

They do a "cut to size" option. Check out Metreel for their sliding door gear which is Helm based.

Why not just get a joiner to make a door that size and use say Helm track.

Is it as long as it's on wheels or as long as it can be moved? Could you substitute lifting eyes for wheels?

If it wasn't for us being an AONB etc I'd have built a green roofed, passive esque "tiny house" for my lad (and I've have finished it). Got the land, no overlooking neighbours etc. Then there's council tax implications too. Barstewards! An Englishman's home etc. I think even a garden room is a no no where I am without pp. When you consider what the illegal beds in sheds brigade get up to.
