Yeah, it’s only coming out at night time when the cylinder is heated by economy7 powered immersion. So I’m fairly certain it’s the EV - which I am sorting out today (the tundish I will just replace as a consequence of the splashing, not as a fix to the venting).
-
If your not sure at the moment, bang some conduit in with a bit of cord to pull wires though later. Allows you to add more cable later if things change.
-
2 years on and I’ve eventually ordered the bits to move the EV. This was only because water was splashing out of the tundish (cheap small one fitted) and dripping into the room below... possibly due to me not having the annual inspection and the EV has lost pressure ?

South Wales double extension and full gut

Or get yourself an iPhone ? I second this. But this is only if you want it as an investment... if you want to live there, a second house isn’t ideal. -
But at least having a technician means they will just draw what you tell them. So make sure you are very clear about air-tightness and insulation. Making sure things like cold bridges are designed out. There is loads of stuff on this in the forum, and plenty of people who know a lot about this too. I have done something very similar to you, large 2 story extension and full reno of the existing... my biggest regret is not have a good enough understand at the design stage of the above.

Don’t have trickle vents!! You’ll just fill them as soon as you can once you have moved it. They are drafty even when closed and let a fair amount of noise in too. Also, I’m guessing that if you are going for MHVR then it won’t work properly.

I expect it’s just attached directly from a phone photo library, probably in mp4 or mov -

Error code Samsung ASHP

Is it the flush/cistern that’s the issue or the waste? If you use a bucket of water does it all go away like it should? -
Perfect... tomorrow it should be comfortable!

That’s ridiculous... there is nothing to object about. From anyone outside you are just replacing a crappy old garage with something of similar size. Theres nowt stranger than folk! -

I’m guessing they are far enough away not to have any reasonable objection. But to be fair anyone living round there is a posh w**ker anyway -

Well that’s kind of good news... at least you managed to get someone out quickly and they managed to diagnose the fault. Shame if it can’t be repaired. Can you get spares for it? Whats the make and model? -

Was this directly next to your build or the other side of the road from you? I know someone who lives there and they have an internal stained glass window. -
Lol. So in short. You asked for a refund and got one. Stop the press! ?

Exactly that... just something to balance it on to take the weight... I’m guessing if poked it would all fall over. -
So if there is plenty of moisture in the air I would expect it to defrost every 30-60 minutes if it’s working at full tilt (which I guess it is at the moment). But that should only be for a minute or so. ignore the defrosting and do as nick says.. leave it running and come back later.

Where in the country are you? What’s the weather like there?

I’ve just realised you have a buffer tank. What temp is that set at? Get that up to 35+ degrees, ideally 45. Make sure the DHW isn’t calling for heat as that will steal the heat quickly. crank the room stat up high and wait.
