Our previous build was on clay surrounded by 100s of seven meter plus trees No choice Had to be BB our next one Boulder clay good flat ground Three what can only be loosely classed as trees More like bushes I thought Ground baring slab No chance Both SE wanted BB Im installing BB as we speak More £££

Tops are mainly diy rather than trade based with prices per tile etc Very expensive I use Impey for wet rooms and have never had an issue Nice and easy to fit also

Plus 1 BUT There is no consistency between inspectors One may ask for loadings 9 others will probably look at the units

Liquid screed is a great innovation As a business I’ve only tiled around 50 liquid screeds But I’ve known two lift Not great odds

As above Five with traditional screed But will lift with liquid screed For what it costs I would add some staples

It had planning in principle for two detached homes Just the £500 type couple of squares on a field But lots of work done by us to get full planning -
Just finished installing the TP we went with what we know Which was bugger all when we installed the Matrix at our last build five years ago I’ve used 6 cube of dry mix to sit it in and back it up It’s full of water and a dry forecast So should be ok

Plus 1 You can’t get round a BC request a simple desktop study will do the trick He just wants that bit of paper to cover his bum Our previous build was part of a farm and had a full site and contamination investigation 8 years previous and laid to lawn since Three years out of date We coughed up another 500 quid Manx he said Fine 😞

We’ve just start our second build -third We have purchased three acres of open country side Difficult but not impossible -
Slab Put a 300 mil rip of PB in for the dpc to fit against

Five different sizes Thats unusual Most of the houses I frame are 910 openings down 810 up 20 quid per door isn’t much Put on FB for a tenner each when you’ve finished
