She might use a Shewee! -
I totally agree with your colourist, F&B can be a nightmare on wood, esp MDF. There are much better paints IMHO

Use Blum under draw sliders with soft close.

Not sure why your architect can't do the calculations for you. I think the 21st March is the date that needs to be used, so about 50 degrees max.

If you're "very hands on", why aren't you making your own kitchen? -
Some design strategies please

Have a look at Velox ICF which also uses woodcrete and is also now available in large panels (4 x 3 metres) -
You might find that the power supply is a very simple circuit with not much more that a bridge rectifier giving a very poor quality DC output. I would take it apart and have a look at the circuit.

Professionally Built Fitted Wardrobes Issues

You should have asked him for full design plans. A verbal agreement is no substitute for signed-off drawings IMHO. I would pay, you won't make that mistake again. -
I fully agree, more quality research needs to be done on this interesting subject.

MVHR is Largely Bogus

It’s not about recovering the costs, it’s about comfort and wellbeing. Suggest that you use a CO2 monitor to gauge your comfort levels. -

1950ppm! Don't you have windows that open in your bedroom?

Over 200 years ago Max Joseph Pettenkofer said that low CO2 & VOC were important for fresh air. I have visited at least 2 members of BH and helped them monitor and reduce CO2/eCO2 which has increased the comfort and well-being of their home. I agree there is very little data, but that doesn't mean high (1000ppm) CO2 is good for you.

If you're going to log temperature and humidity, I would add CO2 to that list.

I totally agree, allowing 4 people to shower @ 20L/min for 20+ mins is madness. I would install electric showers that are controlled via a coin-mech using £1 and £2 coins. That is your most efficient HW setup.

I would have a duct from the road to your house so that you can accept fibre to the property - FTTP. -
I would use ICF for the basement. For warranty, you might need at least two methods of waterproofing, and sometimes a sump pump.

New member in an old large and expensive to heat house..

Listed or not, it 2023 and you need insulation. Borrow a thermal camera and have a walk around and see where the major losses are. -
The centre is the best IMHO. Also you need to think about what are the light there for? Looks vs. function
