Apologies, maybe I'm looking at the wrong spec sheet. -
Reed relay required for electric gate project

Based on that spec sheet it's not rated at 230V and 5A. -

mvhr zones

True CO2 sensors are expensive, but eCO2 sensors (SPG30) are very good. -
An infrared mirror might be an invisible solution.

Reed relay required for electric gate project

Just use the output of the reed relay as a trigger to drive a “normal” relay or a solid state relay. Relays are mechanical and will/do fail. Powered gate suppliers like them because they can charge you to come out and fix them when they fail. -
I presume this is for your first house? You need to check the rules about buying land.

I totally agree, the physics is good, the electronics is poor.

Cable size requirements for battery system

I suspect that it would/might move around, but the cable would be nice and cool with the airflow! -

Thanks for the clarification, I don't know the Givenergy All In One battery system, but it's now on my radar. So 6kW is less than 9.7kW with a nice margin -

If your PV panels are 350W each, that would mean ~28 panels, which I don't think you have? Maybe you're planning to send DC down the cables to your inverter/battery system, hence the large current requirement. -

Assuming it's at 230V, 47A = 9.7kW! -

Quick answer (for resistors is parallel) 1/Rt=1/R1 + 1/R2, longer answers is available later -
Which heating option? Going round in circles
Adrian Walker replied to WGL's topic in Other Heating Systems
Back to basics. How well insulated and air tight is the renovation and extension going to be? A drawing/sketch would be useful as would some photos. What do you mean by "broadly up to new build regs" -
Just taken a look at your plans and I would, even at this late stage, consider how you could improve the design, especially in respect of the insulation and airtightness.

I think they are around $4000

metres per sec to m3 per hour.
Adrian Walker replied to Coanda's topic in Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)
Because it's easier for most people to imagine 9 litres per second rather than 32.4 cubic metres per hour, that said SI units do make life simpler. I do hate it when people use centimetres rather than millimetres. -

BTW it is normal to have the answer in litres/second for MVHR calculations. -
Windows will be more of a problem with sound than the walls.
