    Copper Sulphate will damage zinc, so definitely a no no from me. There are Lichen Removal Agrents available as it’s a known problem.

    You are spot on. All bolts need a torque setting plus additional notes on washers, thread locks, etc to ovoid over engineering and costs.

    Have you modelled your design in PHPP or similar?

    You will get a small voltage drop, but nothing to be worried about. Max load for both is/might be more of an issue.

    Costing a build per sq metre is not a good way to build or manage. There are so many variables and what do you include. Estate agents don’t use it.

    That's not true at all. Having a uniform temperature in every room is the best way to have a comfortable home. And UFH (with a slab floor) and MVHR is the best, and IMHO, the only way to achieve this.

    you’re over thinking and over engineering the problem. You want a uniform temperature everywhere. Do you have MVHR?

    There is absolutely no need to have a gas hob or oven in 2024. The fumes alone will reduce your life expectancy.

    Once you have cooked on induction you won’t go back. The control ability is excellent and a lot better than gas. It’s a lot easier to clean.
