Agree with your comments. This cable, as the name suggests, is for an EV charger of less than 20 metres, for voltage drop reasons. It was designed so that an EV charger only needs one entry point for data and power.

The Doncaster EV-Ultra cable contains four twisted pairs, more than enough for clamps and data

Air monitoring thingamajig
Adrian Walker replied to Russell griffiths's topic in General Self Build & DIY Discussion
It’s CO2 that you need to measure and monitor -
Or use Doncaster EV Ultra that has CAT5e inside https://www.yesss.co.uk/ev-ultra-cat5e-cable-4mm2-3-core-data-pvc-steel-wire-armour-black-0 They do a 6mm2 and a 10mm2 version.

Helical piles instead of relaying garage foundations?
Adrian Walker replied to SilverShadow's topic in Foundations
Yes, helical piles are a solution. They are often used to underpin, but you do need SE advice. -
Yes, I used CEMEX Evolution self leaving concrete on a project, worked very well.

Copper Sulphate will damage zinc, so definitely a no no from me. There are Lichen Removal Agrents available as it’s a known problem.

How far is too far - extension to accommodation unit
Adrian Walker replied to Grian's topic in Electrics - Other
You will get a small voltage drop, but nothing to be worried about. Max load for both is/might be more of an issue. -
What did your build cost come out at 2024/25!
Adrian Walker replied to PSC88's topic in Costing & Estimating
Costing a build per sq metre is not a good way to build or manage. There are so many variables and what do you include. Estate agents don’t use it. -
A camera is a better solution and I used a Wireless Logic circle.

That's not true at all. Having a uniform temperature in every room is the best way to have a comfortable home. And UFH (with a slab floor) and MVHR is the best, and IMHO, the only way to achieve this.

Brick and Block ground / SIP upper and roof?
Adrian Walker replied to flanagaj's topic in General Construction Issues
ICF with a SIP roof is a common pair. -
you’re over thinking and over engineering the problem. You want a uniform temperature everywhere. Do you have MVHR?

Advantage of an induction hob.
Adrian Walker replied to SteamyTea's topic in Kitchen & Household Appliances
There is absolutely no need to have a gas hob or oven in 2024. The fumes alone will reduce your life expectancy.
