@NickK seems like a worthwhile avenue to explore. It has been discussed adding extra EPS to standard EPS ICF blocks I don't see why this couldn't work with woodcrete but I'm not all that familiar with those products.

Perhaps to get rid of the thermal bridges that woodcrete blocks have..

I've ditched the freebie linear drain for the McAlpine. Only £105 and that's without the trap. It does what I expected the freebie to do which is allow water under the tiles to find its way out. Thinking about the tanking and decoupling now. Is a product that does both at the same worth look? Like TileSure Or should I be treating this as two separate jobs? This is for a ground floor screed. I braved the eternal bath/boxing in thread a la @Onoff. Page 75 the floor tiles just appear without even a mention of decoupling?!

Second @Vijay also received all connection details from SE. Any written contract with the SE you can use as leverage? Alternatively draw the detail up yourself... and see if the fabricators like it. The detail is likely to be quite standard anyway I'd imagine. Welded plate on the end of the universal column with 4 holes in it

It certainly can be. Jobs include fixing extra battens, mounting trays, routing DC cables, fixing flashings and getting the panels on the roof (definitely a two person job!) Depends where on the roof you are putting the panels. If you are putting them at the eaves/gutter you can start straight away with the trays before any slates. If positioning them mid way up the roof then the bottom flashing goes over the slates so in my opinion it's easier for slates first up to the line of the trays. Lateral positioning is also important so you don't end up with a sliver of slate at the side flashings. I posted some detailed photos on Instagram, which shows how I did a mixture of slates then trays then the last slates and finally the panels. Wet room as per @Russell griffiths certainly seems easier Or buy the tray and trap this week Or bring the soil pipe up in the centre of where the tray will be (tray wont have hole in the centre) then before concrete pour make a box out of OSB to create a void in the concrete 100mm deep surrounding waste pipe and reaching to one corner of tray.

It's what I've got and no issues raised yet. I am wondering whether it is correct/acceptable to push a single socket pipe down on to the stub? Feels like using the pipe in this orientation is wrong...
