  1. Surely the incoming ( outside air ) is ok as in not dry ?
  2. ? i’ll Send them an email and find out !
  3. Ok , why don’t the mvhr companies push this ??? . Just wondering as they don’t seem to mention it ....
  4. Now I’m confused ! I thought mvhr took the stale air and moisture out - used the heat for incoming . Why cycle the moisture back into the house ?
  5. I’m still not sure even what this is and the benefits....
  6. Ok , guess it depends on house layout and usage . I’ll leave the boost switches out but was going to put motion/humidity sensors in anyway ( fibaro one’s do the lot ) . Good to know though
  7. I’ve been “told” to use osb as it’s cheaper and more environmentally friendly.....
  8. Think i’ll Just link the boost function per zone to my own home automation humidity and movement sensors . Surely the manufacturer doesn’t expect someone to push a boost button just because they’ve had a shower ????!!!
  9. Been looking through the spec in more detail . They recommend 4 ‘boost’ buttons . When would I use these ? . I assume in a wet room it would ‘boost’ automatically with humidity. Is there no humidity sensor at the end of each duct ? ( does it not work like that ? ) . Personally sounds better to link boost to a movement sensor in bathrooms / wetrooms . I was expecting a system where you set and forget .... Any advice welcome
  10. Thanks . I plan to make sure access is good and will mount it suitably just for that reason .
  11. BPC have replied and suggest Vent Axia Kinetic FH Duct pipe cost more than the unit! ?
  12. Dumb question and just a thought . Could you not comb the floor with adhesive. Then comb the back of the tile offset ? I.e so tile adhesive interlocks the gaps in floor adhesive... Or is that plain dumb ? ?
  13. It’ll be worth every penny !
  14. Well ! A walbot iOS is on the way ! So guess who will be testing it first !!!
  15. I would imagine walk on glazing is difficult to add after the build . Best Buy it now ....
  16. The ratchet method is your friend ; but very slow I.e years .....
  17. As I’ve said many times before covertly record all conversations with planning . They lie , contradict , obfuscate any issue to wear you down and make sure your application is rejected .
  18. I’ll send a plan off to bpc and see what they suggest . Then might shop around for the mvhr unit . Thanks all . Will let you know what I go for ? cheers
  19. Erm , that might of caused the issues in the first place ?
  20. So ! I will use bcpventilation as everyone seems to recommend them . But which unit ? ; prices seem quite varied . 1.2k upto 3k - can’t see a great deal of difference between them . Intend to mount in the loft but off the rafters as others have to reduce noise / vibration . ta

  22. Cokie cola it is !
