  1. Ooooo - only just noticed I'm an "advanced member" does that mean I know lots of things or just that my penis is massive?
  2. Why make life easy when you can build underground!!!! ???? ( you can tell it's Friday! )
  3. No, no no. This is a simple problem. Ripping up your own work to get it done again and still 'potentially' have leaks in a 'roof' - now that will drive you mad. This is known territory . Rough floorpan to show distance issues attached!
  4. Hey all, Apparently my local council require these. But any electrician I have spoken to seems 'confused'. Even the one that installed the fire alarm and emergency lights. I *assumed* there was a standard form for these - but can't find anything generic online. Council unhelpful as you can imagine. Any help appreciated. thanks Mark
  5. SWMBO will execute me ! ?
  6. Now I understand a pump station- it’s not possible . No where to place it ! Onwards and upwards !
  7. Actually i’ve Just thought of a trick ! i can ( I think ) reduce the Maserati pump distance ...
  8. Problem is wc is some distance from sink . So WC has to pump to near sink and exit .
  9. What’s the difference? A pump station just on the wc ? I.e it can pump that distance ?
  10. Right ! i can feel @Nickfromwales breath on my back already ! In the below ground domain we are having a wc . Its quite possible it’s location downstairs has to be moved . It will be under the parking area and on the opposite side to all the drainage ( typically ). As it stands the macerator would have to pump up 2 metres - then ‘around ‘ the stairwell , then horizontal for maybe 8 metres , then possibly vertical again ( less than 1 metre ) !!! Directly below this ‘exit’ point is the below ground kitchen sink ( which of course has a macerator) . I’m assuming the run for the wc is too long and convoluted ( diagram might help ) . So ! Could the wc macerator feed into the kitchen one to ‘eject’ waste ? ???
  11. Skills !
  12. Gave in and ordered it . relatively small groves in each board . Surprised not T&G ! Anyway spent the cash
  13. Hey @Onoff fit one of these ! Dead nice I think !

  19. Ah yes . Some ‘proper’ reviews ?
  20. Still seems to get mixed reviews . Might be ‘user’ error ...
  21. Which model ?
  22. So what’s the next best tile cutter at a considerably lower cost ? The rubi 200 etc . Seem to get mixed reviews
  23. The dye did say 5g to 100 litres. I did 5g to a bucketful of water ? ; then did 2 bucket fulls. It was certainly VERY bright!
  24. Hosed the wall throughly Lane still a bit pink from yesterday! ?
  25. Think we had a bit of rain last night . Track marks look pretty much the same . Not a hint of the red dye . So today’s check is inconclusive. Will hose that outside wall again later
