Well ! I disagree . Went to bathstore got a quote . Managed to get the price down and match online prices . The number of times i’ve haggled PIR , scaffold boards , timber down etc. I can’t remember. Cheaper than ALL online almost certainly not - but near and delivery next day . If lowest price is your only objective then fine - shop around forever .

Quickly looked at Trojan baths - not a single freestanding one under 400 . Also you mentioned a ‘cheap’ geberit and toilet before . Nope ; doesn’t exist - unless you mean eBay with geberit walled cistern and cheap loo ( buyers complain how cheap the toilet is ) . So yes ! You can find cheaper ; of course you can - quality may be an issue though ....

Problem is I want to see and touch bath / sink etc . Nothing worse than something looks nice yet feels cheap . Haggling skills will be at the ready but SWMBO overrules such ability !!

Erm ! The steel beams are indeed powder coated I believe . The installer supplied bolts etc. - it was a custom job so I did nothing ?. I can later get a photo underneath so you can see the bolts - from memory there’s no sign of corrosion..... yet !

Water - water !. You lot don’t know the meaning . When we poured the slab in the subterranean mansion it hammered down . Water had no where to run so just sat there . Means the concrete will cure slower and be rock ‘ard ! ?

Neat ! So I could just use a bit of copper at either end with @joe90 suggested clips just to hold the entire thing ?! So which ‘copper end bits’ do I need ??

Yeah ; something as simple as that might work ! But i’m Going vertical now !

Actually ..... If I build my manifold of manifolds and mount it vertically with water in at the top and end cap at the bottom .... I can build a shelf for it to sit on - still need some clips/straps to hold it in place . Then each pipe can just run horizontally off it through a concrete wall .

Do I really want copper though ? . Just wanted Hep2o straight in .

Guess I could find some metal clips or similar; just seems strange not to provide an obvious method ...
