Yeah . I know . More the product than Soak - but appreciate the heads up !
-
@joe90 you really are Joe90 . I’m sure there was an episode where you were given the brain image of a welsh plumber !!
-
You know it will be MY fault ! Awaiting Nick’s input .....
-
BOSS HAS CONFIRMED APPROVAL!!! That might override @Nickfromwales comments (assuming unfavourable!). 1200x800 with the 250 'flange' to reduce spray/splash. Nice black tray 1200x800 (unless Nick you think that drains a mare - then I would change to a different drain arrangement) More exciting than waiting for the DUP to YEAH or POO the Brexit deal. Hopefully Nick won't take 3 years to respond.....?? it is mid week!

Bloke at Soak suggested this https://soak.com/en-gb/shower-enclosures/shower-screens/1200x250mm---8mm---designer-easyclean-wetroom-panel-and-return-panel/2000994.html#q=1200x250&lang=default&start=1 With a glass return Then this https://soak.com/en-gb/shower-enclosures/shower-screens/900x800mm---8mm---designer-easyclean-wetroom-panel-return-and-side-panel/2001085.html?q=epw But I need what; a 300->400 gap so then we're at 1300/1400 full length..... So this to save 100? https://soak.com/en-gb/shower-enclosures/shower-screens/800x800mm---8mm---designer-easyclean-wetroom-panel-return-and-side-panel/2001087.html?q=epw WelshWizard going to shoot this down in flames for sure!!

What do we think of this? I'm worried if there's a drain issue you are pretty much stuffed!; or not?? https://soak.com/en-gb/shower-enclosures/shower-trays/designer-trays/1000x800mm-luxe-ultra-slim-stone-shower-tray-and-hidden-waste---black/101466.html#start=8

Actually looking at @Onoff 's photo. Doesn't the toilet get soaked when someone showers??? Whats the distance @Onoff from the corner to the toilet?
-
Yeah I wanted the loo on the wall because a) It's an external wall ; so better noise wise b) There's a false stud wall there to hide mvhr pipework etc. so made sense to use that space for a wc cistern. That part of the build has passed the "Project item commit" stage!
-
Do they have to run vertical? Can they twist and turn to get to the roof vent ?
-
Ah right ! That’s why I don’t see great dirty pipes everywhere. So does the vent have to be as ‘high’ as possible up the roof ? . I guess i’m Asking what’s the min height from presumably the ‘nearest’ toilet ???
-
Every house i’ve Lived in had one of these ; not particularly pretty . On large building sites I don’t see any . I assume it’s a requirement so how do they do a ‘hidden’ stench pipe ???
-
There is no keen price anywhere!!
-
Can’t you invent a noiseless flow regulator for at source? . Dragons Den will back you ??
-
Can I ask @Nickfromwales out of interest ; why attenuate at outlet not source ? . What’s the issue ? Or is it just bad practice?
-
Ah ! So I have mid understood ! I assumed quite naturally they could do both I.e that was their function . Well attenuation at a outlet shouldn’t be an issue . For now i’ll Just stick ‘em all full on once ready for take off ! Boom ! - bet @Onoff took 6 months to do that bit ????
-
I’ll do the hot one tomorrow- too much excitement for one day !
-
Really ? They generate that much noise if not fully open or fully closed ? . That was one of my reasons for choosing these nice expensive brass manifolds - thinking I could be clever and control flow ?
-
Well it ain’t pretty but timber allows a Hep2o clip per pipe . Going under the render board ‘lines’ the pipe up to run across the ceiling . Not sure how good this will be really . Need to run a ‘ real’ pipe and see ...
-
Actually I could ‘throttle’ the outside tap ( planned to do this on toilets anyway ) by adjusting the isolator value to restrict flow .
-
Didn’t think of that . Outside tap will hardly ever be used so i’ll Let it go ?
-
-
Just done my 16 vertical holes . Ordered washing machine waste to act as conduit . Just making up the manifold . Photos later
-
Not sure where someone like you would pick up such ‘tricks’ . 4 25mm holes drilled . 16 to go
