I assumed a package would be cheaper ! Vitra rather than geberit ??? no idea If rimless is worth the money or not @Onoff ‘s fault !
-
Misses reply to Geberit icon "It's a toiletIt looks fine" I guess she's more interested in the kitchen.

WINE?

RIGHT! I'm leaving the flush plate for now. That can be decided to 'match' tiles/colour schemes i.e. it's beyond my capability to get this right! Flush plate more expensive than toilet...... JESUS! Anyway! Geberit icon toilet (i.e. it's just a bloody square) UP320 duo fix frame Still comes in at the number of the beasts best friend 555

£350 for a BATTERY operated flush plate!!!. Who the F installs that!. Just done a dump; oh hang on got any AA's on you! FFS! Too much stress for a Friday; I feel the NEED for wine very soon.
-
I just sent links to my misses the response was "You choose" That means if it's shit (no pun intended) it's my fault!!! What colour flush plate FFS!
-
How much for a flush plate!!. I know @Onoffshowed that 600 quid one. But even I semi looking decent one is 120quid. It's just 2 cheap buttons!!!

Xeno2, shrouded, ????? https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/216721.htm Christ seats an extra £100! Aaaargghhh What do I put in my basket!

Argh!. I can't work out what I want!!!. OK! The cistern is the 111353005 I think Rimless - not even sure what that is - better look that up. Christ it's just a bog!

Hmmm, I'm actually having trouble trying to find it cheaper. Of course there are SO many variants of Geberit stuff I might not be comparing like with like. Did like the look of Aquaclean - but then I saw the price! Similar but more expensive! https://www.sanctuary-bathrooms.co.uk/zero-wall-hung-toilet-seat-with-geberit-1120mm-cistern-frame-sigma01-flush-plate/

Coorrrrr ! Puts @Onoff inventions to shame !

What kind of pump would be required to generate ‘hose pipe ‘ pressure ?? Misses never likes a dribble ...
-
Or just some simple shuttering and a few barrows of concrete ...

All fixed Thermostat blown so replaced . As the 1 thermostat is always on would it be wise to put that on a timer also . My logic being that 1 element cold heat for 12 hours ; turn off ; then the other comes on . Kind if like spreading the load . Or is that pointless???
-
That’s just the way it was installed . So in theory I could boost hot water using the timer - but it seems fine with just 1 element heating . As I pay the electric bill ...
-
Yes afaik - heated just by electric immersion .
-
-
His twat text ( even though he hasn’t been there ) says the thermostat is gone . Looking back at my photo of the tank - where is the thermostat?????????
-
Well ! Unsurprisingly the guy who installed the uvc has diagnosed the fault and was meant to fix it today . Whats amazing is I have my automated heating system which shows when someone’s in the room . By coincidence the tenant for the room with uvc is away . Guess what ? No one’s been in - though keys are accessible! . Better yet of course I have Cctv !! / nope can’t see uvc guy ! Thats 1 week tomorrow with no hot showers ... Guess i’ll Have to give up on his ‘warranty ‘ repair I.e never turn up and pay someone instead ffs !!!
-
I mean maybe a mains tap simply above the tank - so no physical connection.....
-
Erm ! Might it just be easier ( say you are using the hose and tank runs dry ) that you manually turn a tap to start filling the tank from the mains ..... ????
-
So what’s the best way to deal with potentially the tank empty ? I.e I really don’t want mains water ( meter ! ) filling it up !!! . So i’m Guessing if tank empty you automatically ‘swap’ to mains . Best way to achieve that ??
-
Yeah ; I’ve pretty much convinced myself this is the way to go . But it’s nice to get it approved by you @JSHarris

Whilst I did plan to have this with one of those nice fancy tanks and automated controller - I’m starting to wonder .... Its uses are toilets , washing machine and garden . Ignoring garden water - there isn’t really a massive saving . Also I’m less keen to have ‘roof’ water staining my nice toilet ! Tempted to drop it ( and save cash ) Garden though still worth it . So I can easily set a cheap tank underground but assume I’ll need to pump it out to get good hose pipe type pressure . So a simple tank with some kind of pump ??? I have a vague recollection this may have been discussed before .... ?
