A barn? Inside? Has this got to pass a BCO inspection? I made one for the tree house years ago. This is all that's left. Easy to make a wooden jig for your router: Then when it had all half rotted I resurrected it for the youngest and went spiral. Little spare cash but a vivid imagination me!

3D surface modelling of randomly expanded foam to gauge the volume of filler required... Even I'll pass thanks! (Laser scanning would be the way to go I reckon...)

Low exp. foam first?

Are they accurate enough? Not sure what the tolerance is on them..... Swap 'em round on the TS and see if the same top/bottom oddity? I just use mine as a rough indicator. How many did you buy?

I've always been told to be very careful cutting "roots" as they can take up small stones as they grow and bugger your chain.

Joking aside it's great this is getting done.

Seriously, drill holes in it with a spade bit, fill with petrol and allow to soak in then get burning! Lot of practical tip vids on YouTube.

Looks great! I'm sold on screeding to "rails" after doing my bathroom with them. My lounge /diner is a long and thin room like that or will be when I knock it thru. That'll get the same treatment! Mine has a change in level that I'll do away with though. What mix was that? I've never used pumped concrete, it looks very "runny". -
Possibly the best idea Iv ever had

Trying to figure this corner out. I've found some seemingly decent 18mm ply although not marine, that I can rip to do the full height, something like this on plan: What thickness do I allow for tile adhesive, which I've not accounted for? As in if I use a 6mm notched trowel does it squash down to 3, 4, 5??? Cheers -
