So how far are your pallets i.e the timber going to be off of the ground?

Dunno, I'd search "heavy duty UV stabilised weed fabric / membrane" or similar.

Mate just bought a house and got a big chunk of money off if he arranged to clear it. Old sheds piled high with stuff. A couple of the neighbours swung by:

No offence but this simplified picture may be better. An imbalance, caused by leakage to earth, gets picked up by the search coil: Pushing the test button brings the resistor in and creates an imbalance. It is critical that the in/out wiring is correct. (Same as with current transformers).

Called hanger bolts, wood to metal dowels etc. Then you'll want a penny washer and wing nut of the appropriate size -

You can get non slip epoxy paint too.

I've 15mm PB pipe run in 25mm electrical conduit for protection. I often get my lad to 3D print spheres, cones etc to go on the end of cables. Makes it easier to push through corrugated duct. A cut down silicone tube nozzle, slipped over the cable is something else I use.

Out of interest, how many hours of printing there? Apologies if you've said elsewhere.

I'm sure SWMBO will appreciate it.

I know a chap put one of together for about £370. Everything from Amazon or AliExpress but much of it printed using 3 rolls of PLA: https://docs.v1e.com/lowrider/ 1m X 2.4m working area. Costs: Controller 100 stepper motors 30 belts and pulleys 20 3D printed parts 60 (3 rolls of PLA) 25mm pipe 30 (less if you use galv conduit) wiring 20 router 50 nuts bolts and bits 30? wood bits 30

Mental... SWMBO's idea is on the lines of.....get rid of the existing old blue, 1980s, 800mm tray. Then get a new 1200mm tray, this "as they're only about £40". Keep the existing white tiles. Move the stud wall to the right about 400mm. Add tiles to the extended shower area and below the existing to meet the new, lower tray. This means we can utilise the 1200mm sliding shower door we bought years back for the downstairs bathroom and never used. All this whilst there's still a rain leak coming in through the ceiling. My plan, do the roof, gut the bathroom and redo in wall panels. Told her I'm not interested doing it half arsed. As mad as her ****ING mother was!

Cheap as chips in fact...

Trust me, there'll be a queue to take any steel and probably roofing sheets off your hands! 😉

Sevenoaks/confirmation/acceptable...not words that usually go together. I'm mulling an application to SDC myself. Had the architect down and a fee proposal.

I wonder if houses in Chicago would fare any better on the natural ventilation front?
